What it is
PeepSo is a social network and community plugin suite for self-hosted WordPress. Its homepage says it "turns your WordPress site into a private social network. Your members, your data, your brand." It is aimed at site owners, course creators, shop owners and membership businesses who want a community on their own domain instead of a Facebook group or a hosted community service. The company says its pricing is "flat pricing that never taxes your growth," and its comparison lists "Unlimited members." The homepage says the plugin has been "Downloaded and used on over 500,000+ sites," and the same company also makes SwipeWP for online dating, Awedesk for customer support and Awecommerce for e-commerce on WordPress.
What you build and how
The community core. The homepage FAQ says the free version is "a working social network: activity stream with nested comments, member profiles, groups, friends, media embeds and two themes." The company adds: "It's not a demo and it doesn't expire." The comparison page lists the Free Bundle at Chat, Photos, Friends, Groups, PeepSo Block Theme, Gecko Theme, Awedesk integration and awecommerce integration. The homepage FAQ lists chat, photos, file uploads, pages, integrations and white labeling as additions in paid bundles, so the two pages describe the split differently.
Member experience. Another page describes a private community website as one where members get "richer profiles, custom fields, group participation, messaging, notifications, and a more intentional sense of place." Real-time chat is a native feature, and the comparison page calls it "one of PeepSo's clearest strengths." The comparison table lists forums as an integration route rather than a built-in feature.
Where the community sits with courses, store and paid access. The homepage organizes the suite into 4 lanes: Community, E-Learning, E-Commerce and Monetization. For e-learning, PeepSo "integrates with LearnDash and TutorLMS," and the comparison page adds MasterStudy. The company says it has no built-in LMS and relies on those plugins, so the course itself lives in WordPress while PeepSo supplies the groups, comments and messaging around it. For commerce, it integrates with WooCommerce and Dokan. For paid communities, the company says PeepSo "supports paid community scenarios through membership-related integrations and group access control." The homepage names the tools: charge for access with Paid Memberships Pro, reward activity with myCred points, run targeted campaigns with Advanced Ads, take donations with GiveWP, and list classifieds with WPAdverts, with user limits and access tiers on top. In the company's words, the community "can sit directly beside your courses, subscriptions, store, or member plans instead of living on a disconnected social platform." Use-case pages cover e-commerce, digital commerce, online marketplaces, job boards and donations, and the integration strip also lists Elementor.
Branding and design. The homepage says a white label front end is included on every paid bundle: "The only logo your members see is yours." The free bundle ships with the PeepSo Block Theme and the Gecko Theme, and the company says the suite works with well-coded WordPress themes.
Mobile apps. Two options are described. With an active Ultimate Bundle license, any PeepSo community can use the universal PeepSo app at no extra cost. Members enter your site address and sign in with their normal credentials, and the app is not branded to your site. The second option is a paid white-label app. The homepage says PeepSo builds "a native app for iOS and Android with React Native," not a wrapper, in the app stores under your brand. It adds that anything that triggers a notification on your site triggers a push in the app, and that the company handles app creation, store submission, publishing and maintenance, so you choose colors.
Setup and hosting. You need a self-hosted WordPress site on a host of your choice. The company offers an Installation and Configuration service that turns your site into something like its demo "within 24 hours," and a managed route: PeepSo Power Suite, where "we host, maintain and build for you." The homepage prices Power Suite "from $7,117 per year," describes it as rare, selective and fully managed, and says it includes mobile apps. For communities moving over from another WordPress community plugin, the company says it provides a migration path and advises testing on staging before the final cutover.
Data ownership. Because the software runs inside your WordPress install, the comparison page says "your community data remains in your WordPress database."
The evidence from the pages
Bundles and prices. The homepage and the comparison page describe a free bundle plus Community and Ultimate annual bundles, and lifetime pay-once licenses. For one site, Community starts at $149 a year and Ultimate at $249 a year. Community covers everything in Free, white labeled, plus real-time chat, photos, albums and file uploads, pages, email digest and user limits, social login and invitations, and support Monday to Friday, 9AM to 9PM. Ultimate adds the integrations with Awecommerce, Awedesk, WooCommerce, Dokan and EDD, LearnDash, TutorLMS and MasterStudy, Paid Memberships Pro, myCred, GiveWP and Advanced Ads, plus Stories, Achievements, every future plugin, early access and 24/7 priority support. The company says Ultimate "brings every PeepSo plugin and integration under one license." The homepage adds licenses for 5, 10, 20 and 50 sites on the full pricing page, with all pricing in USD. The company notes "Introductory pricing applies to the first year, renewals at full price."
Cost over 36 months. The homepage works through Ultimate over 36 months: $249 in year one with optional $249 renewals, for a 3-year total of $747, which it says "works out to about $20 a month." That is the company's own worked example. It also notes hosting on any WordPress host from about $10 a month.
Renewals and refunds. The FAQ says you can cancel the subscription right after purchase and keep every active-license privilege for the full term you paid for, and that installed plugins keep working after an annual license expires, while updates and support pause. The homepage advertises a "100% 14 Days Money Back Guarantee," and the FAQ says renewals are not refundable.
Who it suits and who it does not
PeepSo suits a site owner who already has, or will accept, WordPress and wants a social layer that sits next to a course, a shop or a membership plan. A course creator using LearnDash or Tutor LMS, a store owner using WooCommerce, or a niche publisher wanting members to talk to each other will find the named integrations directly relevant. The flat bundle pricing is attractive for a community that expects to grow, since the pages list "Unlimited members" and describe no member caps.
The caveats are about the platform you bring. You manage WordPress, hosting, backups and updates unless you buy the managed route. There is no built-in LMS, and forums go through an integration rather than a native module. The universal app is shared across communities rather than branded, so a branded app means the paid white-label option.
