What it is
My Community Platform (MCP) is a white-label community platform for organizations that bring people together: nonprofits, schools and universities, faith-based organizations, government and public safety, chambers and associations, membership organizations, creator-led communities and employee or corporate networks. It is for an operations or communications team, or an agency or reseller serving such clients, that wants a member community under its own name without assembling it from separate tools. The company says it "combines a community website, mobile apps, and a powerful admin dashboard so organizations can manage and engage their members from one unified platform." The footer calls it a product of Kannect.
It is not a self-serve drag-and-drop builder. The pages describe a guided service in which the company's team configures your branded platform, then hands you the admin dashboard to run it. The headline promise is to "Replace 6 to 10 Community Tools With One Platform": events, email, website, messaging and payments in one place.
What you build and how
You get 3 connected pieces.
A branded community website. It becomes the central hub where members discover events, access resources and stay connected, with events, announcements, member directories and resources in one place. It carries your logo, colors and organization identity. You can use it as your complete public website, or run it as a dedicated community hub on a subdomain such as community.yourorganization.com, which adds an engagement layer without rebuilding your existing site.
A branded mobile app. The community also lives on iOS and Android in an app branded with your organization's name, logo and colors. Members discover events, receive announcements and join conversations. The company points to push notifications, personalized updates and real-time engagement as a way to build community "without relying on social media algorithms," and members can choose notifications as a daily summary, instant updates or at a scheduled time. The company says it handles the entire submission process to the Apple App Store and Google Play, which typically takes 2 to 4 weeks depending on customization and app store approvals, and talks about a live app in as little as 14 days.
An admin dashboard. The company says it gives organizations "complete control over their community from one powerful platform": manage members, publish announcements, organize events, send email campaigns and monitor engagement in one place, with built-in analytics for participation and growth.
Inside the platform, the features are organized as hubs:
- Member Hub manages each member's journey from applications and approvals to onboarding and segmentation, with members organized into groups, programs or membership tiers.
- Communication Hub schedules announcements, newsletters and reminders in advance, or sends instant group and direct updates. Members can be reached through announcements, email campaigns, push notifications and in-app messages.
- Content Hub publishes announcements, resources, blogs, articles and multimedia content.
- Events Hub creates in-person or virtual events with RSVPs, ticketing, reminders, check-ins and feedback forms.
- Task Hub assigns tasks, tracks deadlines and organizes responsibilities across teams, programs or departments, with real-time updates and shared checklists.
- Payments Hub collects donations, membership dues or event fees, fully powered by Stripe and integrated into the platform.
- Analytics Hub offers real-time dashboards for attendance, communications, fundraising success and member engagement, so a client can measure return on investment.
- Fundraising Hub, written for nonprofits and associations, launches branded fundraising campaigns with donation pages, live progress tracking, donor history and recurring gift management.
Wording like "your clients" and "your clients' members" in these descriptions shows the product is also positioned for agencies and resellers who deliver communities to others; the footer lists White Label Solutions, White Label for Agencies, a Partner Program and an Affiliate Program. On the FAQ, the company says many organizations use the platform to replace multiple tools such as event platforms, email marketing software, messaging apps and membership systems.
Onboarding runs in 4 steps: a discovery call to choose between a community website, a full platform with mobile apps, an enterprise solution or a custom build; then the team designs the platform, configuring the website, member structure, events, communications and engagement tools; then launch; then inviting members, sharing events and publishing announcements. Most organizations can launch the community website within a few days, the company says, and its team continues to support you as your community grows. A 90-second walkthrough video shows the platform.
The evidence from the pages
The homepage's own pricing figure for My Community Platform is $1K-$9K/yr, with "Live in 2-4 weeks" next to it. No plan names, member limits or per-feature prices appear on the page, and a Pricing page sits in the menu. The mobile app "is available on select plans," while every organization can launch the website and member platform first and add the app later.
Launch timing is stated in 3 ways: website in a few days, branded app in 2 to 4 weeks, and "as little as 14 days" for platform and app in the app stores.
On security, the FAQ says the platform "uses trusted infrastructure and industry standard security practices," that payments are processed through Stripe, and that it is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The footer links a Trust Center. On scale, the FAQ says the platform is designed to support organizations with thousands of members, multiple programs and active communities.
The site sells entry points under Solutions labeled Community Platform, Mobile App, Community Website and Enterprise White Label. Support is positioned as hands-on: the discovery call, the demo and a team that stays involved after launch. The company also runs a community engagement blog and a newsletter, The Reseller Insider.
Who it suits and who it does not
MCP suits an organization that wants a branded community and app delivered with help: a chamber of commerce, an association, a school, a faith group or a nonprofit that needs events, announcements, dues, donations, tasks and reporting in one place. The Fundraising Hub is the clearest draw for nonprofits, since donation pages, progress tracking and recurring gifts are built in. An agency or reseller serving several clients fits the white-label and partner offers.
It is a poorer fit for a solo creator who wants to sign up, drag blocks around and publish tonight. The model starts with a call and a demo, the app is on select plans, and the site publishes a price range instead of a plan list. The Payments Hub is built on Stripe, so dues and donations flow through that processor.
