What Jetveo is

Jetveo is a low-code application platform run by Jetveo s.r.o., a company with a Brno address in the Czech Republic. Its home page states the pitch in one line: "Low-Code the way developers want it. Visual editors handle the scaffold. You write the C# that makes your app unique." That makes it a builder for developers and IT teams who want a head start on a business application but do not want to give up real code, rather than a drag-and-drop tool for people who never program.

The site speaks to three readers by name. One section is for developers, one for architects and chief technology officers, and one for managers and business owners. The site is available in English, German and Czech.

What you build and how

The company says the platform is ideal for "vlastních podnikových aplikací a intranetových portálů" (custom enterprise applications and intranet portals), and that it is often used for CRM and ERP systems or for back-office applications. It also names HR tools and processes and help desks as typical internal apps. You can alternatively use it to build the backend for client applications, such as a mobile app or a single-page app, "během chvilky" (in no time). That second use matters for the directory's internal-tools readers too, because the same admin application that staff use can feed a customer-facing front end.

The home page lists the product in seven pieces: an all-in-one solution, C# code, UI components, a database designer, integrations, workflows and security. The split of work is explicit. Building blocks establish the foundation of an app, and C# coding customizes the business logic for each case. The company's own explainer on low-code describes the same idea: building blocks quickly set up the data foundations and user interfaces that every app needs, templates and components save time, a what-you-see-is-what-you-get display shows the software in real time, and deployment to the internet takes one click. On top of that, it says, C# customization lets you fine-tune the business logic so each client gets its own piece of software.

For the interface, the Czech page says the days of the command line are gone and that you create apps by clicking and pointing in an intuitive environment. It mentions multilingual applications, and a wide range of components you can build on and adapt. The home page adds pre-built components and templates so you assemble applications without starting from scratch.

The data and API layer is described through its CRUDL API. You build the application logic and administration inside Jetveo, and then create a single-page app or mobile app that uses the data and logic from that admin application. The Czech page tells architects to forget about building complex APIs because everything works out of the box, and says its app integration feature can connect all of a company's applications together. The home page promises that you can connect your applications to external APIs and services.

Collaboration is mentioned on the home page as features that enable smooth teamwork and iterative development. Jetveo also runs a marketplace. The Czech page says you can start from existing application templates built by Jetveo or by other developers, and sell the applications you build on the Jetveo Marketplace.

Operations are handled by the platform. If you switch on a high-availability mode, it automatically creates a cluster with failover. A unified monitoring feature lets you set notifications so the team learns immediately when something happens and lets you watch performance and resource consumption of your apps. Automatic backups cover databases and documents. The platform also hosts everything: the cost section describes a single platform for hosting all your business applications, which is why it can promise one invoice every month. For teams that care about data protection, the page states built-in regulatory compliance, with automatic anonymization of personal or sensitive data and GDPR reports.

Claims, pricing and onboarding

The home page makes speed claims in the company's own voice. A chart is labeled "10x Speed of Traditional Development". A section on changing your development process lists three steps, "Train your developers.", "Analyze your business request." and "Build working application.", and promises that you can "get completely up and running in 10 days or less". Another passage says teams can bring ideas to life in days or weeks rather than months or years. The Czech page says iterations usually take hours instead of weeks, and that a company can cut its IT and development budget "o několik řádů" (by several orders of magnitude). These are the company's own claims.

The navigation has a Pricing entry, but the site publishes no plan names or prices on its product pages. What the home page does offer are three calls to action: "Create a Free Account", "Start Now for Free" and "Schedule a Free Consultation". The Czech page's cost section talks about "Předvídatelné náklady" (predictable costs) and a single monthly invoice, which describes the billing shape without giving figures.

Onboarding comes in two forms. The home page says Jetveo offers training programs so your developers become proficient on the platform, or it can connect you with trusted partners who build customized applications for its clients. The Czech page puts it as choosing a supplier from the certified partners, and says that if you have your own IT team the company can provide platform onboarding and consulting. The navigation also lists a Partner Programme, with entries to become a partner or find one, plus documentation, use cases and case studies.

On security, the page says development on the platform is safe and fault-tolerant because the platform provides the whole architecture out of the box, under a heading about security at all levels. A security link sits in the footer beside the terms, the end-user terms and the privacy policy.

Who it suits

Jetveo suits a software team or an IT department with C# skills that has a backlog of internal systems: a CRM or ERP extension, an HR tool, a help desk, an intranet portal. The pitch to architects, one platform for all company apps with shared monitoring and backups, fits a company that wants to consolidate scattered tools. A small agency or a consultancy could also work through the certified-partner route and let a partner build.

It is a poorer match for a business user who has never programmed, because the site's own framing is that you write the C# that makes the app unique. It is also not a quick fit for a founder who needs a published price before starting, since the pages give none. Teams that do not use C# should weigh that dependency early, and anyone planning a consumer product should treat the customer-facing use as a backend, not a full site builder.
