What the product is

YourGPT is a no-code AI agent platform for customer support, sales and operations. In practice it is a chatbot builder: you train an agent on your own content, set how it talks and what it may do, and put it on your website and messaging channels. It is aimed at support, sales and operations teams that want a working bot live in minutes without developers, and at small business owners who need the same thing on a smaller scale. The company's homepage says the agents resolve up to 90% of repeated queries and describes the platform as trusted by 10,000+ teams. The pages do not say where the company is based.

What you build and how

The starting point is knowledge. The site describes feeding an agent from website links, uploaded documents (PDFs, DOCX and TXT), a Notion workspace, a Google Drive folder and manually entered FAQ pairs. A company blog post says teams can begin with website content, documents and business knowledge, then add actions, integrations, approval steps and human assistance as their requirements grow. That staging matters for a non-technical builder: the first version is a content-grounded answer bot, and everything after it is optional.

Next comes the agent's character. The homepage lists an agent persona and guardrails feature where you name the agent, set its tone and "draw its limits: what it can say, do, and approve on its own". It also says the platform is model agnostic, so you pick the AI model based on cost, capability or use case and switch whenever you like. The company describes the agents as self-learning and multi-agent, and a blog post lists adaptive knowledge improvement and multilingual conversations among the platform's capabilities.

What separates it from a pure FAQ widget is that the agents act. The homepage says they can answer repeated questions, book appointments, track order status, process and share invoices, manage customer inquiries, qualify leads and automate data entry. For e-commerce it names recommending products, checking order status and handling returns. Under Sales, it describes reaching out to customers proactively. Under Customer Service, it describes AI-first support that "answers, acts, and hands off to your team when it matters". The homepage product menu also names an AI Studio for building advanced workflows, an AI Copilot, an AI Helpdesk for self service, an Enterprise AI offer, a Phone AI Agent for phone support and browser extensions.

For logic beyond a prompt and some guardrails, the comparison page against Botpress describes Chatbot Studio. It states that "YourGPT's Chatbot Studio lets you call your APIs, run custom code, and design multi-step branching flows, with full CSS control over the widget". The same page says Chatbot Studio is included from the Professional plan up, and that YourGPT is "no-code first": you point it at your content, set tone and guardrails, and ship, with depth available rather than required.

Publishing is channel-based. The homepage promises a single omnichannel integration across chat, voice and the channels your customers use, naming WhatsApp, Instagram, your website and voice. The comparison page adds Messenger and Telegram to the messaging list, says YourGPT integrates directly with Shopify, WordPress and Webflow, and says it reaches thousands more apps through Zapier, Make.com and Pabbly. The homepage adds that agents can connect to CRM platforms, helpdesk software and e-commerce systems through APIs, plugins and custom integrations.

When a conversation needs a person, the agent passes it to your team. The blog post calls this contextual human handoff. The comparison page says YourGPT has dedicated iOS and Android apps plus a desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux, so agents can answer handoffs, reply to live chats and get notifications away from a desk. The same page contrasts that with Botpress, which it says is operated from a web-based Studio and dashboard.

The evidence from the pages

Pricing comes from the Botpress comparison page, which cites yourgpt.ai/pricing. It lists one flat plan plus AI credits: Essential at $39, Professional at $79 and Advanced at $349 a month when billed annually, or $59, $129 and $499 a month billed month to month. The page describes paying annually as a 30-39% discount. It says YourGPT has no forced overage: you will not get an automatic overage pack charged the way the page says Botpress adds packs of $50 to $65. The pages do not say what each plan includes in credits, conversations or seats, and they do not give an Enterprise price for YourGPT.

On trying it first, the comparison page's call to action reads "Build and test your agent for free. No credit card required." The homepage button reads "Get Started Free" beside "Book a Demo". The pages do not spell out how long that free access lasts or what it limits, so check it before you plan around it.

For security, the homepage lists SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, ISO 27001, no training on user data, data isolation and SSO. It adds that model providers are configured with privacy-first settings, "including zero-day retention". Those are the company's own claims on its homepage. If the chatbot will touch customer records or take actions in connected systems, a blog post on the company's site itself advises checking security certifications and enterprise controls directly with each provider.

For results, the company cites a customer on the Botpress comparison page: SKNANB, a Caribbean bank, "reached an 85% customer query resolution". The homepage's headline figures are up to 90% of repeated queries resolved and 10,000+ teams. Treat both as the company's own numbers, since the pages do not describe how they were measured.

The comparison page also positions YourGPT against Botpress on who the tool is for: it calls Botpress built for developers and YourGPT no-code first, and it notes the Botpress pricing figures it quotes were last verified in July 2026. That is a vendor-written comparison, so it is a view of the product's own pitch rather than a neutral test.

Who it suits and who it does not

YourGPT suits a support or sales team that gets the same questions all day and wants an agent trained on its help pages, documents and FAQs, live on the website and on WhatsApp or Instagram. A shop on Shopify or WordPress can connect directly, and the order-status and returns use cases are written for exactly that situation. An operations team can use the action features for appointments, invoices and data entry. A solo founder or freelancer can start on Essential at $39 a month billed annually, and the no-code setup of content, tone and guardrails keeps the first version quick.

It also suits a team that expects to outgrow plain answers. Chatbot Studio from the Professional plan gives API calls, custom code and branching flows, so there is an escape hatch into logic without switching products. Agents who work from phones or desktops get the iOS, Android and desktop apps for handoffs.

The caveats are fair ones to weigh. An agent is only as good as what you train it on, so a team without documented answers or clear data sources will get weak results however easy the builder is. Guardrails limit what the agent will say and do but cannot guarantee it never answers wrongly, which matters when it can reach customer records. Advanced logic sits on the higher plans, and the pages do not detail plan limits, so a high-volume team should confirm credits and conversation caps on the pricing page before committing. A developer who wants to own the whole stack will find a hosted platform with a model picker, not code export or self-hosting, and the pages mention neither.
