What it is

Website AI Agent is a no-code AI chatbot builder designed for websites. It is built on the idea that you should not have to write FAQs, draw flow charts or prepare training data to get a working chatbot: you enter your website URL, the platform crawls and indexes your pages, and the bot answers visitor questions from that content. The German homepage calls it "Der erste intelligente Chat-Agent für Webseiten," the first intelligent chat agent for websites, one that understands questions, searches your content strategically and delivers the answer with a transparent reasoning process. The readers it suits are small businesses, online shops and agencies that run sites for clients, and the site is published in German, English, French and Spanish.

You also decide which AI model writes the answers. The homepage offers Google Gemini as the standard option, described as fast and capable on Google infrastructure, and Mistral AI, listed as "Frankreich / EU," for teams that want the data to stay in the EU. The provider is set per bot and can be switched at any time without losing data.

What you build and how

The builder is visual and code-free. The English builder page lays out the path: create an account and enter your URL so the platform crawls your pages and builds a knowledge base, customize the widget by choosing colors, uploading a logo, writing a welcome message and setting the bot's name and persona, test it in a live preview and refine the system prompt and custom instructions, then copy the embed snippet into your site's HTML. The homepage condenses this into 3 steps: enter the website, let the content be turned into vectors, embed the widget. You can upload extra documents during setup.

The knowledge base maintains itself. The homepage lists sitemap detection, PDF upload and automatic re-crawling, so new pages reach the bot without a manual rebuild. The builder page warns against neglecting to re-crawl after major content changes, and it frames the technology plainly: the bot is powered by LLMs and RAG, with no decision tree to build, no intent library to populate and no training data to curate.

Agentic search is the feature the company leans on. In the homepage's words, "Dein KI-Agent analysiert jede Frage, wählt die beste Suchstrategie und findet Inhalte, die ein normaler Chatbot nie finden würde": your agent works out how to search before it answers, rather than matching a question to a scripted reply. The homepage says the AI reads and understands every piece of content on your site, a Content Intelligence module is marked new, and a Content Suggest feature makes AI-powered suggestions for content to add.

Shops get specific help. The E-Commerce Intelligence feature covers automatic product recognition, price comparisons and buying advice, and it is listed on every plan. Conversion tracking follows the path from a chat to a purchase, so a shop owner can see which conversations lead to sales and compare chat users with other visitors.

The bot speaks the visitor's language. It detects the language automatically and answers in German, English, French or Spanish. When a human needs to step in, a live chat feature hands the conversation from the AI to your staff in real time, and a support system adds contact forms and tickets. A voice mode, also marked new, lets visitors have spoken conversations with the agent on your site.

Analytics close the loop. The analytics module tracks conversations, flags knowledge gaps where visitors ask questions your pages do not answer well, and produces AI reports and insights.

Publishing works on any site that accepts JavaScript. The builder page names WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow and custom-built sites. For developers and automation tools, every plan includes API and MCP access with a per-minute request limit, so the bot can be connected to other systems beyond the widget.

Plans, privacy and support

Prices are published in euros on the homepage, all per month:

  • Trial at 0 euros: 1 bot, 1,000 messages a month, 150 pages, E-Commerce Intelligence and API plus MCP access at "10 Anfragen/Min." (10 requests a minute). The homepage says signing up is free and needs no credit card, and the English builder page says "Free plan available."
  • Mini at 9 euros: 1 bot, 1,000 messages a month, 150 pages and API plus MCP access listed as "(30 Anfragen/Min.)".
  • Starter at 19 euros: 1 bot, 4,000 messages a month, 500 pages, API plus MCP at 60 requests a minute.
  • Pro at 49 euros, marked "Beliebt" (popular): 5 bots, 20,000 messages a month, 2,500 pages, API plus MCP at 120 requests a minute.
  • Business at 99 euros: unlimited bots, 100,000 messages a month, 10,000 pages, API plus MCP at 300 requests a minute.

Each paid plan carries "30 Tage kostenlos testen," a 30-day free test.

Privacy gets its own block. The homepage lists hosting in Germany, SSL encryption and a data processing agreement (AVV, the German term) available directly in the customer area. For the Mistral option it adds that data stays in the EU, that the provider is GDPR-native under EU law ("DSGVO-nativ"), not subject to the US CLOUD Act, and hosted in Paris.

Support runs through the e-mail address support@website-ai-agent.com and the FAQ. The site also has pages for agencies, a partner program, customer references and industry pages, which shows it sells to agencies deploying bots for clients as well as to single site owners. The builder page's own FAQ answers the common setup questions: no technical skills are needed, and any site that can embed JavaScript works.

Who it suits and who it does not

Website AI Agent suits website owners, small businesses and online shops that want a chatbot without writing FAQs or drawing flows. Setup takes minutes rather than a project, the per-bot provider choice and German hosting answer common privacy questions for EU businesses, and the shop features and conversion tracking give an online store a way to measure what the bot earns. Agencies get multi-bot plans and a partner program.

The caveats are practical. The bot is only as good as the website behind it: thin or scattered pages produce weaker answers, and the builder's knowledge comes from your content and uploaded documents. Messages and indexed pages are capped per plan, topping out at 100,000 messages and 10,000 pages on Business, so a very busy site should check its volume. And a deeper link to a CRM or internal database runs through the API and MCP access, which means building that connection rather than clicking it together.
