Thinkstack is a no-code builder for AI chatbots, virtual agents and agentic workflows, aimed at small businesses, support teams and agencies that want a bot answering from their own content. The company's about page says it built Thinkstack after first building an AI support agent for itself, to handle first-level responses, repetitive queries and FAQs. The pages do not state where the company is based or when it was founded.
What you build and how
The core product is a chatbot trained on your material. The Knowledge Sources feature connects multiple data sources to train the bots, and the pricing page measures that material in characters per chatbot, with a separate allowance for links per month. The bot then answers customer questions from what you supplied. The FAQ on the home page says you can use GPT 3.5, GPT 4.0 and GPT 4o with the chatbot creator.
Beyond answering questions, the editor is organized around four named features, each with its own page in the menu.
Actions is the part that makes a bot do things. The Actions page describes API integration for data submission and retrieval, and actions that can be triggered by analyzing a user's interaction history and recognizing the identified intent. Through Zapier, the company says you can connect 1000s of applications to Chatbot Actions. The Zapier page describes using the data generated by Actions to trigger workflows in Zapier, send data to a CRM, automate follow-ups and send notifications. The home page FAQ adds that agents can execute sequential steps, for example gathering information through a form, validating inputs, sending data to your CRM and following up with a personalized message, and that they can be connected to CRMs, ERPs, Zapier or any external API.
Conversational Forms turn data collection into a chat. Instead of a static page of fields, the bot asks for the details, which the company says simplifies collection and improves accuracy. This is the answer for a reader who arrives from a forms angle and wants to capture leads or bookings inside the conversation.
Human Handoff lets the bot pass the chat to a person. The pricing page lists Human Handoff, Notifications and Agent Assignment among the plan features, so routing a conversation to a named team member is part of the paid tiers.
Suggestions guide customer journeys with AI suggestions, nudging a visitor toward the next question or step.
The "agentic AI" side is the company's term for autonomous systems that need minimal human oversight, and the use cases page splits the offer into Agentic AI, which handles multi-step processes, and AI Chatbot, which streamlines conversations.
Publishing is by channel. The home page says "Deploy your AI chatbot on any website builder-full flexibility, no restrictions", and it names Shopify as a deploy target. The integration menu names WhatsApp, Zapier, Instagram and Facebook Messenger. The pricing page lists "Publish on Unlimited Website" as a plan feature. Pro is described as including API, Zapier, WhatsApp and Slack integrations.
For agencies, the menu lists White Label Chatbots, described as chatbots businesses can rebrand as their own. There is also a Chatbot for Enterprise page and industry pages for healthcare, SaaS, banking, retail and hospitality. The pricing page also lists a Multilingual Chatbot feature, though the excerpt does not show which plans include it.
On the end user's side, the visitor chats with an embedded bot on a website or in a messaging app. The home page says the product offers "Fully encrypted communication, GDPR-compliant security, and privacy-focused hosting with user-controlled data protection". It does not name an open-source license, a self-hosting option or code export, so nothing on the pages suggests you can take the bot off Thinkstack's platform.
What the pages state about plans and limits
Thinkstack publishes its prices, which is useful for budgeting. Billing is monthly or yearly, and the page says "Get 2 months for free by subscribing yearly".
The Free plan costs $0 and is labeled free forever. It includes 1 chatbot, 250 message credits, 500,000 characters, 1 user, 50 links per month and unlimited documents.
The Basic plan costs $16 per month, or $160 per year billed annually. The pricing page's visible rows show 1 chatbot and 3000 message credits, and it describes Basic as being for small businesses with low support conversation needs.
The Pro plan costs $90 per month, or $900 per year billed annually. The FAQ says it offers advanced automation, 5 chatbots, and API, Zapier, WhatsApp and Slack integrations.
The Ultra plan costs $299 per month, or $2,990 per year billed annually. The FAQ describes it as ideal for larger operations and offering unlimited message credits.
Message credits reset monthly. The pricing FAQ also tells you to choose a plan based on the number of web pages associated with your parent URL, so every page you need as a data source is included. In other words, the limit that will matter for a site with many pages is the links allowance, as much as the price.
On scale, the company says it has "Over 5500+ users and 40+ businesses joining us daily". The about page quotes Rishin Chakraborty, CEO of xLayer Technologies, who likes "the precision with which results show up for queries". The company also advertises "10X ROI" for its chatbots on its use cases pages, but gives no method behind that figure here. The pages name no SOC 2 or HIPAA certification and do not list a total integration count.
Who it suits and who it does not
Thinkstack suits a small business, a SaaS team or an agency that wants a support bot live quickly. The free tier lets a solo founder test a bot on one site, and the price steps are clear: $16, $90, then $299 a month. A support lead who already uses Zapier can wire conversation outcomes into the rest of the stack, and an agency can white-label a bot for a client.
It is less obviously a fit for a team that needs to host the product itself or hold it to a named compliance standard, since the pages promise GDPR-compliant security but name no further certification. The limits also bite in a predictable place: Free allows 1 chatbot and 250 message credits a month, and the lower paid tiers cap chatbots and credits, so a busy site will move up a plan quickly. Finally, Thinkstack is a chatbot builder rather than a general app, form or workflow platform. Its forms and actions live inside the conversation, so a team that wants standalone web forms, a database or a dashboard will need a different tool alongside it.
