Staffono is an AI customer support platform that answers customer messages on WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, Facebook and web chat from one dashboard. It is a chatbot builder for small businesses, such as salons, gyms and clinics, that take bookings by message and don't want to hire extra staff to answer them. The site is offered in English, Armenian and Russian. The home page promises "No coding required - set up in minutes", and the pitch is that the bot answers, books and captures leads around the clock.
What you build and how
You don't draw flows on a canvas. Staffono is closer to configuring an assistant than designing a bot. You decide what it knows and what it is allowed to do, and the platform handles the conversation. The home page describes 4 building blocks.
The first is the AI knowledge engine. The page says you "Train your AI with FAQs, services, and website content" and that it "learns your business and answers like a real support agent." The plan tables show what you feed it: FAQs and articles, each capped by plan, plus an "Additional Instructions" feature that the Starter plan does not include and every other plan does.
The second is channel coverage. Staffono says you can "Manage WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, Facebook, and web chat from one platform with unified AI customer support." The integrations strip lists Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Telegram, each with a "Connect Now" button. A company blog post frames the idea as one system and one dashboard instead of separate tools per channel, naming Facebook Messenger alongside the other channels, so a customer who finds you on Instagram and returns on web chat is handled in the same place.
The third is booking. The page says customers can "book appointments directly in chat" and that the AI "handles availability, confirmations, and reminders automatically." The plan tables describe the data you set up for this: services, providers and bookings per month. In the blog's examples, a salon visitor asks about hair coloring prices on Instagram and the AI replies, shares service information, offers time slots and confirms an appointment. A real estate question becomes a viewing request, and a medical practice inquiry becomes a scheduling task.
The fourth is optional vertical modules. The plan tables list an Online Shop (with products and orders per month), Hotel and Real Estate. Not every plan includes them.
Around those blocks sit the supporting features the home page names. Smart Human Handoff means the AI "automatically transfers complex conversations to your team when needed." Multi-Business Management lets you "Manage multiple brands, locations, or projects from one dashboard." Multilingual AI Support lets the bot "Communicate with customers in multiple languages automatically", and every plan lists Multi-language AI as included. The blog also says the product supports "AI receptionist workflows", which describes the booking use case in the company's own words.
In practice this is a hosted assistant you configure and connect to your messaging accounts. The blog describes the goal as moving a team from fragmented replies to structured, automated service, and centralizing support, social messaging and scheduling in one operational layer so a lean team can grow its service without growing headcount at the same pace. Setup is meant to be quick: the closing pitch says you can set up your AI customer support in minutes.
The evidence
Pricing is published, in monthly and yearly form, with a "Save 25%" toggle for yearly billing. Monthly prices are Starter at $49, Pro at $99, Business at $229 and Enterprise at $499+. Yearly prices shown are $450 a year for Starter, $900 for Pro, $2,070 for Business and $4,500+ for Enterprise.
The limits are specific, so read them against your volume:
- Starter ($49): 1 project, 10 FAQs, 5 articles, 2,000 AI replies, a booking system with 10 services, 5 providers and 2,000 bookings per month. No additional instructions, online shop, hotel, real estate or custom branding. Standard support.
- Pro ($99): 3 projects, additional instructions included, 100 FAQs, 10 articles, 5,000 AI replies, 20 services, 10 providers, 5,000 bookings per month. The online shop is available with 500 products and 100 orders per month, and the hotel and real estate modules are each listed at 500. Custom branding is not included. Standard support.
- Business ($229): 10 projects, 300 FAQs, 50 articles, 10,000 AI replies, 50 services, 20 providers, 10,000 bookings per month. The shop is listed at 200 products and 500 orders per month, with hotel and real estate each at 100. Custom branding is included, and support is priority.
- Enterprise ($499+): the page calls it "Fully customizable", with 10 projects and unlimited FAQs, articles, AI replies, services, providers and bookings. Support is listed as dedicated.
2 details deserve a second look. Custom branding, meaning the white-label look of your widget, only arrives at the Business tier. And the Business shop line shows 200 products, fewer than the 500 listed for Pro, so a shop-heavy business should compare the module limits and not just the headline price.
There is a free trial rather than a free plan. The home page repeats "Start Free Trial" and says "No credit card required", and a banner across the site tells new members they get their first week of the Starter plan for free.
On social proof, the page carries 2 customer quotes. Anna, a spa owner in Yerevan, says "Clients book directly in WhatsApp". David, a gym owner in Dubai, says "We replaced 80% of manual replies with AI." A section headed "Trusted by Businesses Worldwide" sits under them with no customer count.
Who it suits and who it does not
Staffono suits an owner-run service business whose customers already message on WhatsApp or Instagram. A salon, spa, gym, clinic or small agency can put its services and FAQs in, connect a channel and let the assistant handle first replies and appointments. The Starter plan's 2,000 bookings per month covers most single-location businesses. The multi-business view fits an operator with several locations or a freelancer running assistants for different brands, though the plan's project count caps how many.
It is less suited to teams that need a visual flow designer or custom logic beyond FAQs, bookings and handoff. The yearly prices also lock in a discount only if you commit up front, and the limits on FAQs and articles are small on the entry plan. Check that 10 FAQs and 5 articles can hold your real service menu before you rely on Starter.
