What it is

SCNX is a platform for creating custom Discord bots without writing code. The product is made by ScootKit UG, which the footer describes as "a company proudly based in Munich, Germany", and its site is written in German. The company says it is used on thousands of community servers, mostly German ones. SCNX hosts the bots on its own infrastructure and its comparison table lists free 24/7 hosting, positioning itself as an all-in-one platform for Discord communities. The platform handles moderation, leveling systems, ticket support, AI features, games, and custom command building through a visual dashboard that requires no programming knowledge. The site calls it "Absolut anpassbar" (absolutely customizable) and easy to use, and says it has hosted bots for 6 years.

What you build and how

SCNX centers on a visual bot builder where you create custom Discord bots tailored to your server. The core builder requires no programming knowledge; you configure bots through an intuitive dashboard that lets you customize messages, behavior, and responses in a few clicks. You log in as your bot to manage server actions, create self-roles, send announcements, and configure settings without touching configuration files.

The moderation and security module is one of SCNX's strengths. You get anti-spam and anti-raid protection, moderation commands with support for temporary actions, customizable limits for rate-limiting and auto-moderation, and automated Captcha verification for new members joining your server. The platform includes scam link detection that automatically triggers actions when phishing links or malicious invites are spotted. Rules let the bot automatically act when a user reaches a certain number of warnings, establishing escalating consequences. You can require a minimum account age and a profile picture before users join. The module list also names Jail and Anti-Ghostping, and an Anti-Nuke module that reacts to destructive server actions, which the page marks as available to Early Access users only.

For engagement, SCNX offers leveling systems that reward active members with experience points and role promotions, encouraging participation and community building. An economy module provides virtual currency, banking, jobs, and a server shop. Further module groups cover social media notifications for Twitch, YouTube, Reddit, and RSS, games such as multiplayer games, quizzes, and giveaways, community tools such as suggestions, a starboard, activity streaks, and invite tracking, and server administration such as statistics channels, automatic messages, and channel automation. Ticket systems support multiple categories, forum-style support channels, and applications for team positions, handling administrative workflows. The platform includes welcome message automation, auto-role assignment based on reactions, birthday notifications, and reaction roles that let members self-select their interests.

The AI features include AI-chat channels where users converse with the bot, image generation via /imagine in 3 sizes, conversation memory across messages so the bot remembers conversation history, and trigger modes for all messages, mentions, or keywords. The AI group also lists custom personalities. For support teams, SCNX sells a separate Support Bot, described as having 24+ functions, 27 languages, and AI support. It includes a ticket system with panels using buttons and dropdowns, forms through Discord modals, modmail with forwarding, an anonymous mode, snippets and quick replies, opening hours, ticket assignment and claiming, support ratings and feedback, a knowledge base, AI summaries, and an AI FAQ feature marked Beta. The menu also lists voice support with a queue and wait times, AI audio, and call management.

Custom commands are a standout feature. Custom Commands V3 is labeled Beta and is the closest thing SCNX has to a general automation builder. The pages list triggers (commands, events, buttons, and schedules), flows with an editor where you build your bot's logic step by step, storage for records per server and per member, and modules and apps that bundle flows into one installation. A marketplace lets you publish and share what you build. An AI authoring step is also listed: you describe a flow, then review the draft. Beta access is by application.

All configuration happens through an easy-to-use dashboard. You get live preview of embed messages while editing them, parameter support for dynamic data like usernames, and a simple configuration editor requiring no JSON knowledge or technical background. The company hosts the bots, and says it can fully restore a bot's data and configuration even if one of its bot hosts fails.

Plans, claims and customers

SCNX states it has "65+ modules" available for customization across different community management categories. Its comparison table against manual setup and other bot platforms lists no programming needed, custom branding, a visual dashboard, custom commands, and an open-source core among its rows.

Pricing is partly published. The page describes getting started as free, and the bot page says all of the listed modules are free of charge. The Support Bot is advertised "Ab nur 4,99 € / Monat, oder noch günstiger mit jährlichen Preisen" (from just 4.99 € a month, or cheaper with annual pricing). Linked Roles is marked Premium and advertises white-label branding. Further plans sit behind the Pricing link in the navigation.

The company says it grew almost entirely without marketing effort, and claims "67K+ registered users," "90K+ registered servers," and "75K+ created bots." Bot hosting uptime is stated as "99.9% Bot-Hosting-Uptime auf 20+ Servern" (99.9% bot hosting uptime on 20+ servers). A separate hosting section says the company runs 40+ servers across Europe hosting thousands of bots, with each bot given an assigned amount of memory. It says each hosting provider has to meet strict conditions on reliability, security, and privacy. The footer links a data processing agreement and a bot hosting agreement. The company says it has hosted thousands of bots for thousands of communities for 6 years.

SCNX lists 65+ modules across moderation, leveling, economy, tickets, welcome messages, social media notifications, AI, games, community features, server administration, utilities, custom commands, and support features. The pages mention specific modules like Anti-Spam, Anti-Nuke-Schutz (anti-nuke protection), Bewerbungen (applications), Automatische Nachrichten (automatic messages), and Automatische Veröffentlichung (automatic publishing). The Support Bot is described as "24+ Funktionen, 27 Sprachen, KI-gestützt" (24+ functions, 27 languages, AI-powered). The custom bot's page counts "25 Sprachen" (25 languages), from English, German, French and Spanish to Japanese, Hindi, Bengali, Chinese and Latin, with commands, descriptions and error messages fully localized and translations contributed by the community through Weblate.

The platform supports multiple Discord channel types and offers "Linked Roles" for displaying official role tags like Admin, Moderator, or VIP directly in chat messages. The Linked Roles product lists "30+ Themes & 14+ Sprachen" (themes and languages).

The table row "Open-Source-Kern" (open-source core) is ticked for SCNX, and several modules carry the note "Dieses Modul ist Open-Source" (this module is open source). Support is available in German and English through the community Discord server, from team members and verified helpers, and through documentation. The Backups product saves your Discord's messages, channels, roles, emojis, bans, and server settings, created manually from the dashboard or automatically at intervals.

Who it suits and who it does not

SCNX is built for Discord server communities of any size that want professional-grade moderation and engagement tools without custom development. It works well for gaming communities needing anti-raid protection and leveling systems to encourage participation, support-focused servers that need ticket triage, AI-powered FAQ responses, and escalation workflows, and German-speaking communities where native language support matters.

The free hosting and no-code dashboard appeal to server owners with minimal technical skills. Communities wanting to add AI chat capabilities, custom games, economy systems, or interactive welcome flows without hiring developers benefit from the breadth of prebuilt modules. Communities that want to publish or reuse automations can look at the marketplace in the Custom Commands V3 beta. The site also has a vanity-URL service, dcserver.link, in beta and free, and a backups product.

Communities that need integrations beyond the built-in module library, or want to write their own bot code, will find the module-and-flow approach the boundary of what they can do, though Custom Commands V3 pushes that boundary further for those admitted to the beta. A very small server that wants one feature may find the breadth more than it needs. Support comes from team members, verified community helpers and documentation, in German and English. The site itself is German-first, so English readers should expect a German interface in places.
