What Makerobos is

Makerobos is a chatbot builder from Makerobos Innovation Labs, based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Its product is called Frontman, and the site introduces Frontman 2.0 as an "AI First Platform for Building Enterprise Chatbots." The headline pitch is an "Industry Grade AGI Platform that helps you build generative AI chatbot for your business." It is aimed at marketing, sales and support teams at companies that want a bot trained on their own content, and it carries a sign-up path for a free plan, so a small business can start without a quote.

What you build and how

The site walks through Frontman in 4 steps, and they describe the build better than any feature list.

  1. Meet Instinct AI. The company calls it a "Super AGI module that helps you launch pre-trained or custom AI personality for your business to engage with customers with a personalized experience." You choose a personality rather than starting from a blank prompt.
  2. Import data. "Connect your data sources, upload files, or add a website for crawling, and Frontman's Instinct AI will use all of that data to train your chatbot."
  3. Customize feel and look. Custom colors and logos make the bot look like part of your website, and custom instructions match it to your brand's personality.
  4. Unleash AI. "Add a generative AI chat widget to any website with a simple JS code Or embed on any page."

So the finished bot is a widget on your site, and the end user is a visitor typing questions that are answered from the documents and pages you supplied.

The pieces behind that flow

Deep Document Understanding. The company says Instinct AI converts web pages, knowledge bases and PDFs into "mathematical representations called 'vectors'," which lets the bot run fast, precise searches over them.

Story Builder. This is the no-code part. The company describes "drag and drop, visual chatbot builder interface" for building predefined conversation sequences and running business logic. A bot can therefore mix scripted paths with answers from your documents. The feature menu also lists a Style Builder, a Frontman Widget, Rich Messaging, Auto Messages, Conversational Ads, Conversational Landing pages, Book Meetings, an Audience Manager and Bot Analytics.

LLM Storehouse. You can "Choose LLM from wide range of service providers" and tune randomness, confidence thresholds, memory settings and text splitting methods. The page does not name which providers or models are available.

Grounding. The site's "Aha! No Hallucination" section says a "unique multilayer AI dramatically reduces hallucinations" and that a "quick view of the key references and traceable citations" supports grounded answers. That is the company's claim, and it comes from the product's own comparison page.

Application Integration Hub. Frontman "allows integrations with popular tools like Shopify, Zapier, Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce etc." and the company lists syncing contacts, automating workflows and managing customer interactions as the uses. The integrations menu separately shows Shopify Assist, Zapier, Shiprocket and Amazon SNS.

Frontman Apps. A suite described as including a Persistent Menu for navigation, Broadcast Messaging and a built-in Knowledge Base for common user questions.

Chatman for WhatsApp. The site presents "Chatman by Makerobos" as an "Enterprise Conversational AI Platform for WhatsApp Experience," with WhatsApp Chatbots in the feature menu. It sits beside Frontman and extends the same idea to the messaging channel.

Templates and industries

The templates menu lists chatbot templates by industry: Finance, Education, Manufacturing, Banking, Railway Train, Coaching, Airline, Tax, Automobile, Event Management, Consultancy, Legal, HR, Hospitality, Restaurant, Recruitment, E-commerce, Retail, Information Technology, Digital Marketing, Survey, Healthcare, Customer Care, News, Real Estate, B2B, Travel and Insurance. A separate Solutions menu groups by business type, including Beauty and Cosmetic Brands, Home Decor and Furnishing, Startup and Funding, Spas and Salons, Marketing Agency, and Freelancer and Consultant Sales. The pages do not describe what a template contains.

The evidence from the pages

The strongest pricing statement is that the site invites you to "Get Started with Free Forever Plan" and shows a sign-up link for the Free plan. The pages also have a Plans and Pricing menu entry, but no prices or plan limits appear in the text shown, so this entry quotes none. Message limits, bot counts and user limits on the free plan are not stated.

Customer quotes sit under "Wall of Wisdom," credited by name and title:

  • Swapnil Kotibhaskar, Sr. Presales Manager at 3i Infotech Ltd, says "With Frontman AI, we have enabled for our client to develop full fledged ITSM Chatbot in 2-3 days where it was taking 4 to 8 weeks before."
  • Minal Ruhela, Senior Manager at Stellantis, calls the Story Builder a "class apart marketing tool for Automotive industry."
  • Harsh Arora, Head IT at Hindustan Power, says Frontman AI "has significantly advanced our employee L&D initiatives" and helped "auto scaled attendance and learning activities across departments."
  • Charu Kishnani, Chief Marketing Officer at Cardekho Group, calls Frontman an "All-in-one Conversational AI Platform."

These are testimonials the company selected for its own page. The pages state no user count, no security certification and no hosting region.

Support routes shown include a customer care email, a Help Center, FAQs, an "Ask An Expert" link and a form to "Book a 15-min discussion." The company lists comparison pages against Yellow AI, Landbot.io, Reply.ai, Wati.io, kore.ai, Haptik.ai and Kommunicate.io. The page this entry reads is the Haptik comparison, so its claims about being "a premium AI-centric solution," with a "human-like personality, intelligent semantic searching, and performance analytics," are the company's view of itself, not a neutral test.

Who it suits and who it does not

Frontman suits a business that has a body of documents, a website and a set of repeat questions, and wants a branded chat widget answering from them without engineering work. The free forever plan lets a small team try it. Sales and marketing groups get extra tools in the same product: Conversational Ads, Conversational Landing pages, Book Meetings and an Audience Manager. Teams using Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce, Shopify or Zapier will find their integrations named.

There are real limits to weigh. No plan prices, free-plan caps or security claims are stated, so a regulated buyer or a high-volume support team has to ask before committing. The page does not say which language models the LLM Storehouse offers. The visual builder is for conversation flows and chat widgets, not for building full applications, and the one embed route described is a JavaScript snippet on a website. The answer quality depends on what you feed it: the product learns from the files, sites and data sources you import.
