What LiveChatAI is
LiveChatAI is a customer support chatbot and AI agent builder. The home page headline is "AI chatbot for customer support. Resolve 70% of customer support queries instantly," and the FAQ defines it as "a GPT-4o-powered platform that turns your own knowledge base into an instant, always-on customer-support agent." It is written for support teams and small businesses that want answers on their website without scripting conversation flows or hiring developers. The pages name no headquarters or founding year.
What you build and how
You build a support agent by feeding it your own content. The setup pitch is "Just paste your website URL. We crawl every page, train your AI, and you're live. No developers. No consultants. No waiting." The FAQ lists the other ways to train it: "web pages, help-center articles, PDFs, Notion pages, YouTube transcripts, or custom Q&As." The home page feature list has a Data Source section headed "Train Your Knowledge Easily", and the site promises "Simple Setup in 5 Minutes".
Adding the agent to your site happens in the dashboard. The FAQ points to an Embed & Integrate area where you choose how to add the agent to your website. A comparison article on the site says the Settings Hub "gets you live in under 30 minutes", and that more complex setups with custom integrations, several channels and workflow automation "typically take 1-3 days". Those timings are the company's own, written in an article that compares AI agent builders.
The product is more than a question-answering widget, and the home page lists its main parts as AI Actions, Segments, a Live Chat Inbox and AI Settings. AI Actions is described as "AI Agent that Acts", so the agent can take steps instead of only replying. The comparison article says LiveChatAI's "AI Actions and built-in integrations cover most SMB stacks out of the box." Segments are billed as a way to "Segment and Personalize", and the home page also lists a Contacts feature. The Live Chat Inbox is billed as "Human-supported Live Chat", which is how a human picks up where the AI stops. AI Settings covers "Customization and Settings".
The channels are visible in the site menu under Platforms. A Zendesk AI Agent is marked new and described as an "AI agent with human handoff for support". There is a WhatsApp AI chatbot that "Resolve queries instantly on WhatsApp", a Shopify app that integrates the agent with your store, a WordPress plugin, and a Slack AI agent. The use-case menu covers customer support, internal support, ecommerce and education. The same menu has an Agency Partnership page and a Free Tools section.
The site frames the product against flow builders. In its AI agent comparison article it says "Chatbots understand questions and return answers. AI agents understand intent, choose a workflow, and complete the task." It adds that for most use cases you do not need a developer, and it names LiveChatAI among the tools built for non-technical teams.
What the site states
Pricing is published in an article on the site comparing LiveChatAI with Freshchat, in US dollars, and the plans are sized by GPT-4o messages. Free Forever is $0 a month with 250 GPT-4o messages, training for up to 100 pages, and 1 chatbot with 1 seat. Basic is $39 a month with 4,000 GPT-4o messages a month, "unlimited data source integration", 1 chatbot with 1 seat, and live chat support. Pro is $89 a month with 10,000 GPT-4o messages a month, 2 chatbots, 1 seat and AI Actions. Advanced is $189 a month with unlimited messages and data sources, 5 chatbots, 3 seats, multiple LLM options, API access, and integrations with tools like Slack and Make.com. Expert is $389 a month with unlimited messages and data sources, 10 chatbots, 6 seats, WhatsApp integration and the removal of LiveChatAI branding. The home page adds "No Credit Card Required", and the agent-builder article says LiveChatAI, Chatbase, Botpress and Tars all offer free tiers. Because the figures sit in a blog post rather than on a pricing page, confirm them on the live Pricing page before you budget.
The resolution claim is the centerpiece: "Resolve 70% of customer support queries instantly", repeated as "%70 Resolution Rate" and "about 70 %" in the FAQ. Customer stories are on the home page. One reads "LiveChatAI transformed the way we handle support. It now resolves 65% of our customer queries automatically," credited to Alptekin Can, CEO. Another from Peacock Turfscape, by Customer Account Manager Lisa Pieraccini, says the agent "answers almost all our customer questions" and runs 24/7 on turf sizing, product picks and care tips. A third, from Sales Manager Emir Yanar, describes technical support in Turkish on an ecommerce site. The page says it is "Trusted by teams including Investing.com, MSA, Drivings.com, DESi, and Peacock Turfscape."
On compliance and security, the pages state no SOC 2, HIPAA or GDPR claims, no data region, and no self-hosting option. The Help Center, a demo booking and a contact page are linked in the menu.
Who it suits and who it does not
LiveChatAI suits a small business, an ecommerce store or a SaaS support team that has existing help content and wants an assistant live on the website, WhatsApp or Shopify without building a conversation tree. The message-based plans and the free tier let a team try it on one chatbot before paying. The Live Chat Inbox and the human handoff Zendesk agent suit a team that wants a person to take over when the AI should not answer. A team with a modest content library, such as a help center, a few PDFs and a Notion workspace, is the clearest fit.
It is built for customer support first. The pages mention internal support, ecommerce and education as use cases, but there is no workflow canvas, no database and no app builder here, so it is not a place to build general business apps or multi-step automations on your own data. The 250 messages on the free plan are enough to test the agent and not enough for a busy production site. The ceiling on chatbots and seats climbs with the price, so a team running several brands or many agents would be on the $189 or $389 plan. Anyone with compliance requirements has to ask the company, since the pages do not list a certification.
