What Fetchply is

Fetchply is an AI chatbot builder for customer support and sales. Its site calls it "an AI sales and support agent for any brand: SaaS products, business and service sites, docs, and online stores." It is aimed at a store owner, a small support team or a SaaS founder who wants one agent answering pre-sale and post-sale questions.

The agent answers across a website widget, WhatsApp, Instagram, Slack and email, using only your own pages, products, policies and documents. When a person is needed, it hands the conversation to your team with full context.

What you build and how

Fetchply is organized around a routing idea. The site puts it this way: "Repeat questions can receive approved Instant Answers, predictable requests can follow Guided Flows, open questions can use your business knowledge, and complex conversations can reach your team." You are not building one giant script. You are deciding, for each kind of question, which of 4 paths it should take.

Training. The setup is described as 3 steps that fit in one sitting. First you train the agent: it auto-crawls a website, app or store, reading pages, docs, products and policies, and you can add custom instructions. Second you test it by asking real questions and reviewing the answers. In the site's demo, a shopper asks about sizes in a blue t-shirt, the agent answers from the wrong product, and a typed correction replaces the answer. The page says the agent "learns from every fix." Third you activate it with one snippet on any website or one click on Shopify, then expand to WhatsApp, Instagram and email. Beyond your website pages, the agent can learn from uploaded files, pasted text, snippets and approved Q&A pairs. The footer also lists free helper tools for preparing that material: PDF to Markdown, Webpage to Markdown and CSV to Markdown converters.

Instant Answers. These answer customer questions from your website, files, snippets and approved Q&A pairs, and the site says the agent can cite its sources. When the agent cannot answer, the chat goes to the shared inbox for a human reply, and an unanswered-questions report logs the gap so you can add a page, document or Q&A pair for next time.

Guided Flows. For requests that should always go the same way, Guided Flows script them as "choice-based flows with a visual builder: exact wording, product steps, and controlled outcomes." This is the part of Fetchply closest to a traditional chatbot builder, and it is the part where you decide the wording rather than letting the model improvise.

Store features. Product recommendations draw on a live Shopify, WooCommerce or built-in catalog while the shopper is still deciding. Order tracking resolves "where is my order?" with a verified live lookup that needs the order number plus a matching email or phone, "never the number alone." The homepage demo walks through this: verifying the checkout email, reading live order status and checking carrier tracking. In-chat ordering takes a complete order inside the conversation, covering products, customer details, delivery address and confirmation.

Lead capture and handoff. Lead capture collects visitor contact details with an in-chat form and sends each lead to your dashboard, Google Sheets or webhooks. Human handoff passes complex conversations to your team in a shared inbox with assignments and quick replies. Fetchply's own comparison page says that if the customer has already left, your reply goes out by email, and that the inbox is included on every plan.

Channels and publishing. The homepage lists WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Shopify, Slack, WooCommerce and Discord under "Works across," and counts "11 channels and tools" in total. Slack is described as the place for handoffs in your own workspace, so the same trained agent can serve customers and your team. The site also says Fetchply is itself an MCP server: you can connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP-capable assistant and work with your agents in plain language.

The library behind all of this is counted as "19 capabilities, one agent," each with its own setup guide, running from verified order lookups to custom Functions. The footer's channel list spells out the full set: website chat, WhatsApp, Instagram, Instagram comment to DM, Messenger, email, Shopify, WooCommerce, Slack, webhooks, Functions and automations. Store owners can install it from the Shopify App Store, and WordPress sites from WordPress.org.

The evidence from the pages

Pricing. The site says it has "pricing you can actually see." The comparison page states a free plan with 1 agent and 200 AI messages a month, with no credit card, and says paid plans run from $18 to $99 a month. It also says message or training add-ons extend any paid plan without a forced upgrade. It names Pro and Business plans, on which automatic retraining runs when your content changes, and says the shared inbox comes with every plan. The homepage says you can start with "No credit card" and launch your first agent the same day.

Customers and support. The homepage carries a customer spotlight from Usman at Elite Kids, who says: "We wanted something that could answer customer questions without adding more work for our team. Fetchply was easy to set up and started working with our Shopify store pretty quickly." The page adds that it is a practical app for stores that want faster support and a better shopping experience. For help, the founder, named as Haroon, offers a free 30-minute Google Meet call. The page describes it as "Free, no pitch," and invites you to bring your store, your workflows and your hardest customer questions and leave with a plan for the agent. The resources menu adds documentation, how-to guides, a changelog, a referral program and an agency partner program, and the company sends one short product-update email a month.

Who it suits and who it does not

Fetchply fits a Shopify or WooCommerce store where a large share of support tickets is "where is my order?" The verified lookup and the live catalog are written for that case. It also fits a SaaS or docs-heavy site that wants answers grounded in its own pages, with a human inbox behind them. A solo founder can start on the free plan, which does not need a card, and test the agent against real questions before paying anything.

The caveats are fair ones. The agent is only as good as the content it reads, so a new site with thin pages will give thin answers; the correction workflow is there to patch that, but it takes your time. The 200-message free allowance is small for a busy store, so most live shops will end up on one of the paid plans. Teams that want a general-purpose app builder, a database or a custom front end will not find one here: this is a support and sales agent with flows, not a platform for building arbitrary software.
