What Dapta is

Dapta is an AI agent platform for voice and text, aimed at small and mid-size businesses that win or lose work on how fast they answer a phone call, a WhatsApp message or a web chat. The home page title calls it "AI Voice & Text Agents for SMB Sales Automation," and the headline promises "Create your first AI sales agent in 2 minutes." Agents stay on around the clock and sync what they learn into the CRM you already use. It is written for sales, operations and support teams who want an agent answering customers without a developer wiring together speech and language-model services. The site is offered in English and Spanish, and the company advertises a free webinar held in Spanish.

What you build and how

Dapta's product menu sorts the offer into 3 families. Voice AI holds an AI Voice Agent, an AI Notetaker and WhatsApp AI Calls. Text AI holds AI Text Agents and WhatsApp AI Agents. Autonomous Agents holds Dapti, an AI sales agent, plus AI Workflow Automation, Sequences and Dapta MCP. Under resources sits Dapta Forms, a form builder. That spread is why the product sits in both the chatbot and the voice agent categories: the same credits buy phone calls, text agents and chatbots. The FAQ says it directly, "Credits in Dapta power features like AI Calls, text agents, and chatbots."

The quickest way in is a set of ready-made roles the home page calls an AI team. An AI Receptionist and an AI Lead Qualifier handle every call, provide information, book appointments and update the CRM. An AI Sales Follow Up agent sends follow-ups, nurtures prospects and re-engages leads. AI Customer Support solves problems, answers FAQs and connects to humans. An AI Onboarding Specialist guides onboarding, drives product adoption and sends surveys. An AI HR Candidate Screener asks structured questions and updates the ATS, and an AI Collections Specialist calls for balances, recovers payments and sends reminders. For anything else, "Build Your Own" lets you "Create a fully custom AI employee without writing a line of code. Describe what you need, and Dapta takes it from there."

The FAQ defines AI Calls as "automated, AI-driven phone calls that handle tasks like lead qualification, customer follow-ups, and prospecting." The Dapta Chatbot is "an AI-powered assistant that engages customers 24/7," which can "answer frequently asked questions, collect leads, and guide users through your sales funnel." Scheduling is built in: the agent books meetings by text and voice, syncs appointments to your calendar and adapts to your availability. The home page says Dapta "replies instantly by SMS, voice, or chat, 24/7," and pitches a live demo, "Talk to Dapti," where you hear a voice agent in real time.

For a home-service business the site describes the loop: Dapta's agents "instantly respond to customer requests, book appointments, and sync details directly into your CRM," with plumbing, HVAC and landscaping named as examples. For law firms, Dapta handles intake calls, schedules consultations and logs every interaction. For real estate it responds to buyer and seller inquiries and qualifies leads, for education it follows up with prospective students, and for SaaS it connects the CRM, payment systems and messaging tools to automate demos and onboarding. The company's own guide to voice agent builders adds that Dapta "logs every call and books meetings for you."

The pricing grid shows how a build is organized. Plans count agents, flows, users and workspaces. An agent is the thing that answers calls or messages, a flow is the automation behind it, a user is a teammate, and a workspace is a separate container, useful for keeping clients or locations apart. Paid plans include database storage that agents draw on. One customer review credits "The integration of RAG + Tools" with 99% contactability.

On integrations, the FAQ states that Dapta "integrates with 1,000+ tools and can also connect to your favorite APIs," naming CRM, email marketing and project management tools as categories. The solutions menu breaks out HubSpot, GoHighLevel and Salesforce, and a customer review describes content and prompts flowing into Notion. Dapta MCP appears in the product menu, and the resources list Docs, Dapta Academy, an integrations page, a community and an affiliate and partner program.

Forms are a lead-capture builder rather than a chat tool. A company article on free form builders with conditional logic and scoring includes Dapta Forms among tools that let a total score decide the next action: a specific thank-you page, a redirect to a booking calendar, a webhook, a team notification or a CRM record of a chosen type. Answers add up to a score, and the score routes the lead.

Plans, limits and claims

The pricing section lists 4 plans, billed monthly.

  • Free costs $0, is self service, and is "For individuals and business exploring AI automation." It includes 2k credits, 1 agent, 2 flows, 1 user and 1 workspace.
  • Pro costs $99. It includes 100k credits, unlimited agents and flows, 5 users, 5 workspaces, email and chat support and 10GB of database storage.
  • Scale Up costs $499. It includes 500K credits, unlimited users, 25 workspaces, fully assisted onboarding, priority chat support, "4 sessions of 1-1 tech implementation per month" and 20GB of database storage.
  • Prime costs $1,499. It includes 1.5M credits, unlimited users, 70 workspaces, assisted onboarding and implementation, a dedicated account manager, access to a solutions engineer, a WhatsApp or Slack group for live support and 50GB of database storage.

Credits are the usage meter. The FAQ says each interaction, "whether it's a call, a chat message, or content generation, uses a small amount of credits," and that you can monitor usage in real time and add more.

The home page shows "Trusted by 50,000+ companies," a 4.7 rating and "Enterprise Security - SOC 2." Its support claims are "24/7 AI Agents Live," a team that "responds in under three minutes," and "98% Client Satisfaction" from home service teams. Support runs by email and live chat, which the FAQ says is available 24/7. Customer stories name Colwell Law Group in New York, Aether Mechanical in Denver, and Miami Tech & Arts University, which the site says "doubled connections and boosted bookings by 50% in one month." A hero quote from Christian Perez says Dapta "cuts lead qualification from weeks to hours."

Who it suits and who it does not

Dapta suits an owner-operator, a small sales team or a service business whose revenue depends on answering inbound calls and messages quickly. The free plan is enough to build one agent and test it, and Pro at $99 is where a team of 5 can share workspaces and where agent and flow counts stop being a ceiling. An agency or a business with several locations can use the workspaces, from 5 on Pro up to 70 on Prime, to keep them apart, and the larger plans bring hands-on implementation help.

It is less suited to a company that wants a general-purpose agent framework to program in depth; Dapta is organized around ready-made sales and service roles. The free plan's 1 agent and 2 flows are tight, so most real use lands on the $99 plan quickly. Since calls, chats and generated content all draw on the same credits, a team planning thousands of calls should run real conversations on the free credits and watch the meter before choosing a tier.
