What CustomGPT.ai is

CustomGPT.ai is a no-code platform for building an AI agent from your own business content. Its FAQ explains it this way: using a no-code interface, it "ingests data from sources like your website, helpdesk, knowledge bases, documents, videos, and podcasts to create a custom AI agent". The company's pages do not say where it is based. The reader it fits is a support, operations or knowledge team that already has documentation and wants a chatbot or internal assistant that answers from it, and an agency or business that wants such an assistant under its own branding.

What you build and how

You build by supplying content, not by drawing flows. The company says you can set up an agent trained on your content in just 2 minutes and then deploy it to an employee or customer-facing channel of your choice. The data sources are broad. You can give it a website sitemap, or create a custom sitemap, and the platform indexes the whole site and refreshes it periodically to check for new content. You can also upload documents such as PDFs, Microsoft Office files and Google Docs. The company says the platform supports 1400+ document formats, including audio formats and podcasts, and that you can mix several sources into one "source of truth". Beyond uploads, it lists 100+ integrations for pulling content from sources such as Shopify, Wix, Notion and HubSpot.

The result is an assistant that answers from that material. The company says the agent can handle 93% of support and research questions from your team or customers, a figure it states about its own product. Its platform navigation names an Anti-Hallucination AI feature, a No-Code GPT Builder, a RAG API, Data Connectors and a Security and Trust area. So there are two ways in: the no-code builder for non-technical users, and an API for developers who want to wire retrieval into their own software.

On delivery, the company's blog pages say CustomGPT.ai supports website embeds, Zapier connections to 1,400+ apps, and API access. Those posts say one shared agent can serve website chat and other business apps when each channel has a supported connector. They also say a no-code assistant can mix static knowledge for policy questions with integrations or an API for account-specific actions, and that the deciding question is whether you need backend actions or only FAQ coverage. A low-code article on the same site describes CustomGPT.ai as an AI-driven chatbot builder with low-code hooks for custom scripts and webhooks.

The company's guidance on rollout is practical. Its blog says that before launching one agent across several channels you should check that each integration supports authentication, conversation state, routing, human handoff and fallback behavior. It notes that WhatsApp Business normally requires approved template messages outside the 24-hour service window, and that Slack bots often need workspace admin approval plus channel scopes before they can post or read messages. To keep answers consistent across a website chatbot, WhatsApp and API deployments, it advises pointing every channel at the same approved sources and updating them in one place. It also says one assistant can answer both billing FAQs and AI tool guidance in the same chat, using static knowledge for policies such as pricing, invoices and refunds.

Branding is configurable. You personalize the agent with your logo, background and other branding elements in the no-code platform. The FAQ says the Premium and Enterprise plans can remove CustomGPT.ai branding, which matters for agencies that deliver the assistant to clients. The platform supports 92 languages, so an agent can answer a global audience in its own language.

Because the product is about content in, answers out, two categories of use stand out in the company's examples: customer support on a public site, and internal assistants over documentation, policies and billing information. The company cites a customer result: BQE Software reports an 86% AI resolution rate. It also points to a published MIT case study that it says reports 90+ languages and no hallucinations. These are the company's references to named customers, not figures to assume for your own content.

What the pages state

Pricing is short. The FAQ names three plans: Standard at $99 a month, Premium at $499 a month, and Enterprise at custom pricing, all with no-code AI agent creation and "varying features and capacities". The FAQ does not itemize limits by plan, such as the number of agents, documents or queries, beyond branding removal on Premium and Enterprise. Both a Try for free button and a Talk to sales button appear, but the pages say nothing about what a free trial includes or how long it lasts.

On security, the FAQ says the data is protected with enterprise-grade measures including SOC2 Type 2 compliance and GDPR adherence, strict access controls and encryption, and it points to a Security and Trust Center. It also says CustomGPT.ai will never use your data to train any Large Language Model or AI in general. Those are the company's own statements, so a regulated team should read the Trust Center and ask for the reports before relying on them.

The company calls itself the "#1 no-code AI platform", designed for non-technical users, and says you can build custom agents in minutes with no coding or technical expertise.

Who it suits and who it does not

CustomGPT.ai suits a team that has the answers written down somewhere and wants an assistant on top of them: a help center, a documentation site, product PDFs, a set of internal policies. Its content-first setup and wide source list make that first deployment quick. An agency can build under its own brand on Premium, and a company with a global audience can use the 92 languages.

It is a narrower fit for people who want to design a conversation. The pages describe an agent that retrieves and answers, with low-code hooks for scripts and webhooks, not a visual flow builder with branches. Account-specific actions need the API or an integration, so a team that wants the bot to change a plan or look up an invoice should plan for that integration work. The entry plan is $99 a month, and the pages say nothing about a free plan, so a solo founder with a small site should check what a trial includes before choosing.
