What it is
CogniAgent is an AI agent builder that combines conversational interfaces with workflow automation on a single canvas, aimed at operations teams automating repeatable business processes. The platform is hosted, requires no infrastructure management, and handles integrations with 2,700 or more business tools, so teams can build agents that read and write live data mid-conversation without stitching together separate products.
What you build and how
The core editor is a visual canvas where you design workflows that double as conversations. Rather than building a chatbot form, you model the actual business process. An agent reads order status from your database, captures missing information through natural language, applies business logic (including approval chains, payment verification), and hands off to a human when judgment is needed. The agent runs the same flow whether triggered by an inbound message, a scheduled event, or a manual request.
The data layer connects to your systems through 2,700 or more integrations: CRMs, eCommerce platforms, ERPs and support systems, with Gmail, Slack, HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoom, Google Calendar, Jira, Outlook and Postgres among the logos shown. The agent reads and writes live data mid-conversation, so it can confirm a customer's order status, update a ticket, or reschedule an appointment without leaving the chat. You can start with a template for lead capture, returns routing, appointment scheduling, or approval chains, or build from scratch. The AI Concierge generates a canvas from a natural language description of your process, so your team supplies the business logic and the platform supplies the structure.
Conversations and workflows run on the same engine. A workflow can trigger a conversation, and a conversation can start a workflow. This means an agent handling a customer inquiry can run background operations (checking inventory, creating a ticket, applying rules) while the customer stays in the chat thread. Multi-agent coordination is built in: agents share context, transfer conversations between one another, and coordinate steps across departments without leaving the platform.
Tone of voice and brand rules are uploaded to the knowledge base, and every agent answers within them. Voice support is native to the platform, so you add voice to an existing chat flow with a single click, and the same workflow runs on text, voice, email, and phone calls.
The platform offers templates for common processes: customer support, lead capture and routing, returns and order status, payment verification, inventory alerts, approval chains, appointment or showing scheduling. Collaboration is built in: multiple agents can run in the same application and share context. The visual builder removes the barrier to iteration. Most teams move from signup to their first agent to testing to deployment in 7 to 14 days.
Onboarding differs by plan. Assisted onboarding is included with Enterprise: a CogniAgent engineer builds your first agents with you, so your team learns the platform while the work gets done and can manage it independently afterwards. On pay-as-you-go, teams self-serve with the Templates Center and the AI Concierge, plus human chat support once they have purchased credits.
What makes this different from traditional automation platforms is the unified interface. You do not model workflows in one tool and conversations in another. Everything happens on the canvas. If you need the agent to confirm an address, it asks conversationally and validates the data. If you need the agent to check inventory, it does so and reports back in natural language. The same flow handles routine cases end-to-end and routes complex cases to a human without the customer having to explain themselves twice.
The company positions CogniAgent against Rasa (an open-source developer platform) by emphasizing speed and hosted infrastructure. Rasa requires managing servers, upgrades, patches, and monitoring. CogniAgent is fully hosted with automatic scaling, high availability, and built-in reliability. Rasa forces teams to stitch processes together manually outside the platform. CogniAgent handles end-to-end workflow execution across connected tools inside one system.
Evidence from the pages
Every account starts with 5,000 credits and full access to the canvas, all AI features, and 2,700 or more integrations. There is no subscription and no monthly fee. You buy more credits from $10 when you go live, and they never expire. The plan also lists up to 5 user seats, free messaging channels and production deployment. Human chat support activates on your first purchase. The company states that "most teams are live in 7 to 14 days: signup and first canvas on day one, building from a template through day three, connecting systems and testing real scenarios to day seven, then deploying across channels."
The platform handles event-driven automation: workflows react to business events (an inbound message, a status change, a scheduled check) and can hold a multi-turn conversation while the rest of the workflow keeps running. The agent hands the conversation to a named person mid-conversation with the full context attached, then picks the workflow back up once that person answers. You set the conditions that trigger a handoff through a value threshold, a sentiment signal, or a specific type of request.
Customer testimonials show measurable outcomes. One states: "CogniAgent has become an essential part of our customer experience. The cognitive AI platform handles most routine inquiries, freeing up our agents to focus on more complex issues. Our customer satisfaction scores have gone up by 25% since implementation" (from the CEO of Kidazzler). Another says: "CogniAgent automated 20% of our HR processes, cutting the recruitment cycle by 35% and improving hiring quality by 17%. The TA team shifted from manual screening to actual candidate engagement. Quarterly costs dropped by 24%." (from the HRD at Glorium Technologies).
The company markets itself as easier to adopt than Rasa because you do not need to write custom code for actions or API calls. CogniAgent ships with built-in error handling, retries, and execution history, so teams can see why a workflow succeeded or failed.
Who it suits
CogniAgent is strongest for operations teams, HR departments, and customer support teams that run repeatable processes multiple times a day and have the systems in place to connect (a CRM, an ERP, a ticketing system, a scheduling tool). It fits well if you want to cut manual handoffs between tools, reduce the cycle time of approval chains or request routing, or free customer-facing agents to focus on complex issues.
It is less suited to teams building pure chatbots that do not touch backend systems, or to teams that want low-code to mean nobody on the team has to understand the process. While the visual builder removes the need for coding, understanding your process well enough to model it on a canvas requires at least one person who knows how the work flows. The platform's strength is in automating the repeatable work that follows a predictable path. Truly ambiguous decisions still need a human in the loop.
