What it is

AskMeevo is a no-code AI chatbot builder. Its tagline is "AI chatbot builder for SMBs. Zero configuration. Real results." The pitch is that you type your website URL, verify your email, and the agent builds itself from your site while you do. It is aimed at small business owners, founders, marketers and support teams who want a customer-facing chatbot without a flow editor. The site footer says it is "Operated by Stormbreaker AB", and the pricing section states "EU servers. GDPR compliant."

What you build and how

Zero config start. The home page walks through what happens during signup: "Type your URL and verify your email. While you do that, we scan your site, products, services, policies, FAQs." A demo panel shows a site being crawled, brand colors and logo being extracted, and Q&A pairs being generated, ending with "Agent built and ready to deploy". When you log in, the agent "already knows your business, has your brand colours, and is ready to embed with one line of code". If you have no website yet, you can start from an industry template with a pre-built tone, sample questions and smart defaults. The templates named are e-commerce, law firm, clinic, coach, hospitality and SaaS.

Knowledge control. The page says "You control what it knows": upload a file, paste a URL, or type it in. Pricing rows add sync modes, with manual source sync on the free plan, daily auto-sync on Growth, hourly auto-sync on Pro and real-time content sync on Enterprise.

No flow diagrams. The company's own guide to no-code builders says AskMeevo requires the least technical knowledge, with "No flow diagrams, no decision trees, no API configuration needed". It describes its own build as adding a website URL, customizing the widget and embedding one script tag. If you want drag-and-drop conversation branching, the same guide points to other tools such as ChatBot by Text, which it describes as a visual flow builder.

Source citations. On every answer "every response links to the exact page it came from". The company's reasoning is that customers know why the agent said something, and your team knows what was said.

Freshness monitoring. The home page describes source health in colors: "Green means current. Red means stale." You see which sources need updating before a customer gets an old answer.

Uncertainty reports. The agent "tells you when it's uncertain", so you see gaps in its knowledge before your customers hit them. A separate line says it "walks buyers to the sale": it answers the question, then opens the right page.

Use cases. The home page offers three: customer support, team knowledge base, and "sales meets ops". The public widget section is about answering customers and capturing leads, with an example that starts "Start capturing leads tonight".

Publishing. A single HTML script tag goes in your site header, "similar to adding Google Analytics". The company's guide says WordPress, Shopify and Wix offer one-click plugins that make even this step unnecessary, and notes there is no JavaScript to write. Business, Pro and Enterprise add the extras listed below.

Integrations and API. Webhooks and Zapier arrive on the Pro plan, API access on Business. There is also an "Ask Evo" assistant built into the site.

For the person who visits your site, the result is a chat widget whose answers link to the source page, with a human request option on paid plans.

The evidence from the pages

The pricing section is headed "Simple, flat pricing. Session-based. No credits. No billing surprises." It offers Monthly and Yearly billing, with "2 months free" on yearly.

  • Free, 0 euros a month, "Try it. No card needed.": 1 AI agent, 100 conversations a month, 10 MB knowledge base, manual source sync and source citations on every answer.
  • Growth, 49 euros a month, "Scale your support": everything in Free plus 3 AI agents, 1,000 conversations a month, 50 MB knowledge base, daily auto-sync, human requests, and removal of the "Powered by" badge.
  • Pro, 99 euros a month, marked Most Popular, "Full agent power": 5 AI agents, 5,000 conversations a month, 250 MB knowledge base, hourly auto-sync, collection of visitor contact details, and webhooks plus Zapier.
  • Business, 249 euros a month, "Teams and workflows": 10 AI agents, 20,000 conversations a month, 1 GB knowledge base, a full analytics cockpit, 10 team seats and API access.
  • Enterprise, custom pricing on request: unlimited agents, custom conversation volume and storage, real-time content sync, dedicated support with an SLA, and white-label availability.

The page adds "Limit reached? Your agent pauses. You're never charged extra." It also says "Your first agent is free. No credit card. No setup fee. If it doesn't know your business in the first session, we'll help you fix it." The company's comparison pages position the flat fee against credit-based tools: "Flat session pricing. No credits. One number per month. No credit math. No invoice surprises."

The company publishes a no-code guide last updated April 2026 that ranks AskMeevo first of 7 builders, with a price range of 0 to 499 euros a month, a setup time of about 20 minutes and a required skill of "None". Treat that as the company's own ranking: a separate comparison article states "We rank ourselves first because we built AskMeevo to solve the specific problems people have with Chatbase." That article also lists "Newer product with smaller community" among AskMeevo's drawbacks. In it, the company claims Chatbase uses credits, gives no source citations and has no built-in lead capture. Those are statements about a competitor, made by AskMeevo.

The pages publish no customer count and no compliance certification beyond the GDPR and EU server statement.

Who it suits and who it does not

AskMeevo suits a founder, a small shop, a clinic or a service business that wants a working answering bot on its site within about 20 minutes, with a known monthly price and a free plan to start. The citations and freshness alerts help anyone who worries about an agent quoting a stale policy. A support team can use the same agent as an internal knowledge base through the team knowledge base use case, and a fast-growing business can climb to Business for 10 team seats and the API.

It is a weaker fit if you need branching conversation flows, or a deep rule engine. The pages describe knowledge-based answering, not workflow design. The free plan's 100 conversations a month and 10 MB of knowledge are small, and the paid tiers cap conversations and storage as well, so a busy site should size plans against its traffic. Teams that need a formal security certificate such as SOC 2 will not find one on these pages.
