What Nected is
Nected is a decision and workflow platform: a business-friendly rule engine with workflow automation, experimentation and AI agents built around it. Its home page calls it a "Unified Automation Platform For All Use Cases" and promises "Enterprise Decisioning Without Enterprise Cost or Complexity." You define the decisions a business makes (who gets a lead, whether a claim passes, what price or fee applies, which delivery route to use), then wire those decisions into automated flows with AI agents, APIs and databases. It is built for product, operations and risk teams that want to change logic without a code release, and for engineers who want that logic behind an API. The blog names a co-founder, Mukul Bhati, whose author bio mentions earlier startups and a group CTO role at Docquity.
What you build and how
The home page lists six solution areas: a Rule Engine, Workflow Automation, an Experimental Engine, AI Agents, an AI Copilot and Ticket Management. Each one maps to a way of building something.
Rules and decisions. You use a "no-code, business-friendly UI or an AI copilot to design business rules and decisions with precision using your own datapoints, without depending on your tech team." The rule engine offers several rule types: Simple Rules, Decision Tables, Decision Trees, Rule Sets and Rule Chains. Rules can return dynamic outputs, and the page says you can build sophisticated rules and workflows visually while keeping full developer flexibility when needed, including a custom code editor.
Building with AI. The company says you can describe requirements in plain English or upload a PRD, and the AI Copilot will build the rules and workflows from it, then help you refine them with AI-assisted edits.
Workflows and process automation. The company says you can "connect rules, AI Agents, APIs, and data sources to end-to-end automated workflows in real time." Workflows are built from Code, Database and REST API nodes, plus action nodes such as Loop, Delay and Switch. Rule chains run rules in sequence and rule sets run them in parallel. Under the solutions list the page says you "gain full control over maintaining the system and manual approvals edge cases directly within Nected's integrated dashboard," so manual approval of exceptions is a built-in path. A Scheduler/CRON feature runs flows on a timetable.
How you go live. A three-step outline sits under "Get Live within 15 Minutes": feed data points from your databases and third-party APIs through native integrations, create, test and publish rules in a no-code or low-code editor, and build flows around those rules. Rules and flows are then triggered by API, webhook or the scheduler. The integration section shows sample calls in Java, Go, Node.js, Python, Rust and C#, and says Nected fits into an existing stack through simple API calls.
Testing and tuning. The Experimental Engine runs A/B tests and simulations on decision flows before deployment. The page says you can "compare outcomes, evaluate rule performance, and optimize continuously with live data feedback," which lets a team trial a pricing or approval rule on real traffic before rolling it out.
Lifecycle and operations. The development lifecycle feature lists built-in versioning, git sync, rollback and staging environments. Monitoring and reporting cover audit trails and real-time dashboards to track every change. The home page claims sub-100 ms decisions for high-concurrency, large-volume workloads.
AI agents. The AI Agents area handles document extraction, text classification and data enrichment, and the company says you can "build your own agents or plug in pre-trained ones directly into your workflows." These are agents that perform tasks inside a flow rather than a website chat widget, and they are what places Nected among chatbot builders here. Built-in document intelligence uses OCR output to trigger decisions and validations. Under "Bring Your Own AI Model" the page names OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Vertex AI, Claude and custom models, and says model outputs can be combined with your databases, CRMs and APIs.
Data and integrations. The page says you connect "APIs, databases, and services effortlessly to centralize decision logic in one place," and banners "100+ PLATFORMS, UNLIMITED POSSIBILITIES." No-code connectors link databases, third-party services and internal tools. One customer story mentions connecting Google Sheets.
Hosting, branding and security. Cloud-native deployment means you choose multi-region cloud hosting for high availability or self-host Nected on your own infrastructure "for complete control and compliance," and the header carries a "Try Self Host" link. A white-labeled option lets you "use Nected as your own branded decision engine" with embedded user functionality. The security block mentions enterprise-level security, role-based access control and scalable infrastructure.
Use cases. The industry tabs cover financial services (credit scoring, lending eligibility, KYC onboarding, dynamic payouts), insurance (underwriting, claim automation, transaction monitoring), e-commerce (dynamic pricing, coupons and promotions, personalized campaigns), aviation (dynamic fares), healthcare (clinical rules, compliance, patient management), automotive (on-road pricing, loan and EMI calculators) and transport and logistics (delivery routing, lead allocation).
Plans, numbers and proof
The home page says "Free to start, and pay as you grow!" with a "Get Started for free" button marked "No Credit Card required" and a link to its pricing plans. A comparison table in the company's own blog lists Nected as "Pricing upon request."
The company's numbers, as the home page states them: used by teams across 500+ companies, 100M+ decisions executed per month, a 4.6/5.0 customer rating on G2, 92% of enterprise customers renewing annually, and "10x Faster Time to Market."
Customer quotes on the home page put figures on single projects. Greg R., tech lead at SidecarHealth, says staging and production URLs are set up automatically so there is no DevOps overhead, under an "80% Faster" development banner. Souradeep Paul of Brightchamps says development time fell by 2x. Ayan S. of Wealthright credits the rule engine and workflow system with 3.2x faster development for payout calculations. Joe Shoop of Torch 3PL says the team integrated its systems and Google Sheets within hours for its pricing rules. Raman Kumar of Vidyakul reports a 3% rise in leads and 4% growth in conversions within 20 days.
Support for building rules is offered through a form, and the confirmation says the support team will reply within 72 hours.
Who it suits and who it does not
Nected suits fintech, insurance, healthcare, e-commerce and logistics teams that keep decision logic in spreadsheets, hard-coded services or email approvals, and want a visual, testable, versioned home for it. A product team can run it as the rule engine behind its own app, called by API from whatever language the app uses, and an IT team that must keep data in-house has the self-hosting route. Agencies and software vendors can white-label it.
It is the wrong pick for building the front end. If you need pages, public forms or a mobile app, pair it with an app or site builder. A solo founder with a single simple workflow may find a rule engine more than the job needs, and buyers who need exact pricing should expect a conversation beyond the free start.
