What Flowingly is
Flowingly is a process platform that puts AI-assisted SOPs, process maps, forms and workflows in one governed place. Its tagline is "Capture, Govern, Improve, Automate", and the home page says it is built for government and business teams who want "less paperwork and more progress". It sits between a documentation tool, a process-mapping tool and a no-code workflow builder, and it is written for operations staff and process owners rather than for developers. The company trades as Flowingly Limited, a customer quote credits its "local support and being NZ-based", and the SOP Pro page says that product is hosted locally in Australia. Support lines are listed for New Zealand, Australia, the USA and the UK and Europe.
What you build and how
The platform is sold as 4 named products that work together, with Risk & Compliance, Analytics and Integrations listed beside them in the platform menu. The newest piece, Creation Hub, captures work as it happens and turns it into a governed SOP.
SOP Pro is the documentation product. You hit record and it captures your screen and desktop, then turns the recording into a governed SOP automatically, with screenshots, steps and descriptions generated for you. The company describes 4 ways in: capture live with the browser recorder, which records every click, record your screen, generate from a walkthrough or training video you already have, or build from scratch step by step with no recording. You review and redact before publishing. Every SOP is version-controlled, standardized and auditable in one searchable workspace, and SOPs can be linked directly into processes. The page claims "10x faster SOP creation", up to 80% less time documenting, and a drop from hours to minutes per SOP. It also argues that cloud ERP software changes constantly, so documentation written at go-live goes stale, while an SOP recorded from real use can be updated in minutes when the system changes. New starters follow the current approved version, not a copy someone saved locally.
Mapping Pro is the visual process-mapping tool. The home page calls it "the AI-powered process mapping tool councils actually use" at "a price they can actually afford". Each step shows who is responsible, in a streamlined left-to-right layout, and an instruction panel lets you embed SOPs with rich content and work instructions inside the map. Maps and automations update in real time with version control. To-Do and Task lists manage tasks and track process status, so a map is not a static diagram. The company's pitch is cost: its section is titled "Mapping Software That Won't Cost You $40k", with a commitment to no hidden costs and no outrageous price raises on renewal.
Workflow Pro is the no-code builder for automation. The home page describes simple drag-and-drop workflows that automate forms, approvals and handoffs and replace PDFs, emails and manual follow-ups. You can swap steps in and out without disrupting a running workflow, assign tasks to teams, users or dynamic actors, keep work on schedule with automated emails, task nudges, notifications and reminders, and route approvals according to delegated financial authorities (DFAs), with an auditable approval history. It is pitched at IT teams that want to automate processes "up to 7x faster", and the company says teams can deploy over 30 automations a year, which it states as up to 7x more processes automated than with tools like Power Automate. The pitch also says the no-code approach lets business teams take part in automation projects alongside IT.
Digital Forms are the fourth product, the front door for requests and approvals: the drag-and-drop designer converts PDFs and paper into digital forms that trigger automated processes without coding.
On integration, the home page lists a Power Automate Connector, conditional logic, database lookups and APIs for building integrated processes. Todd Energy's case study describes running Flowingly alongside Power Automate.
This is a process tool, not an app or website builder. What you build are SOPs, process maps, forms, approval flows and task lists that run inside Flowingly, used by an organization's staff and, for SOP guides, its customers. The resources menu lists templates, eBooks, webinars, a blog, a Help Centre and a Trust Centre, and a partner program sits alongside.
On access, the enterprise page says anyone in any team can be given permission to start, collaborate, approve and design processes, and that users can be managed directly in Flowingly or synced from a corporate directory. Single sign-on works with Active Directory (including ADFS and Azure), LDAP, G Suite and custom SAML-P.
Pricing, security and customers
The pages state no plan names and no prices; a demo is the main way in. They describe pricing transparency as "a key point of difference", with no hidden costs and no outrageous rises on renewal.
The enterprise page lists Flowingly as "SOC2 Type II Certified", says it adheres to the 5 trust service principles, describes it as "HIPAA BAA Compliant" with Business Associate Agreements for healthcare work, and calls its systems GDPR compliant. On data sovereignty, it says data is handled "subject to the laws of the country in which it is stored". Under "Defence in depth" it lists access management with clearance levels per project, DDoS protection, product security, hashed and salted passwords, data encryption, incident response, security monitoring that combines machine learning with real-time monitoring, and automated vulnerability tests. The page says it is designed for organizations "from hundreds of staff to hundreds of thousands", and that Flowingly, its service providers and clients are regularly audited.
Customer stories carry most of the numbers, all published by the company. Glenelg Shire Council is credited with saving 80+ weeks of admin every year, with a single automated process eliminating 9 weeks of admin. SIT went paperless across accounts receivable and removed 1,200+ hours of process admin. Todd Energy scaled its rate of automation 7x by adding Flowingly alongside Power Automate. The home page says Waitomo District Council mapped more in 2 weeks with Flowingly than in 6 months with its previous mapping tool. Other case study titles cite cutting LGOIMA response times by 40% and retiring 62% of unused processes while migrating from Promapp. One more title cites beating a year of Promapp adoption in 4 weeks. IT&C is described as achieving ISO9001 certification with the help of process mapping in Flowingly.
The testimonials are specific. Donna Officer of Tauranga City Council says "You can create a three-step process in under a minute". Jemma Dillon of Glenelg Shire Council says early adopters are seeing 60-70 minutes saved on every process run, and that having the SOP tool under the same contract settled her data privacy concerns. Saeed Jouzdani, CIO at Waitomo District Council, says "You save budget, you save time". Steph Richardson of Todd Energy says anyone, not just IT, can be trained in as little as 3-4 hours and be building flows.
Who it suits and who it does not
Flowingly fits local government, the public sector and mid-to-large operations teams in energy, education, food production, manufacturing and transport that need written procedures, maps and approval workflows in one auditable system, especially teams replacing a legacy mapping tool such as Promapp, which several of its stories mention. It also suits a team that wants its documentation under version control and kept current as software changes, and an IT team that wants business staff to build their own approval flows.
It is the wrong tool for a founder who wants to ship a customer-facing app, a site or a store: it builds internal process assets, not products. Budget planning starts with a demo, since the pages publish no prices.
