What it is

Cotalker is a low-code platform for operations teams that run work in the field, in plants and across sites. Its site describes it as a way to "automatiza y personaliza tus procesos operacionales" (automate and customize your operational processes) without leaning on a technical team. The company says it was born in 2016, when its founders saw operations teams pushing toward what they called "hiper-digitalización" (hyper-digitalization): a process that starts in WhatsApp, continues by email, ends in a phone call and is finally consolidated by hand in Excel. Cotalker's answer is one place where people, processes and data connect, so each operation is "más simple, rápida y segura" (simpler, faster and safer). The company says it operates in 7 countries across the continent. The site is written in Spanish.

What you build and how

The home page frames the product as four verbs: automate, connect, execute and control. Each one maps to something you build.

Automate. You create low-code processes and automate repetitive tasks with bots powered by AI, "sin depender del equipo técnico" (without depending on the technical team). The site names the kind of work bots take on: notifications, assignments and status updates, so an operation needs less manual work and makes fewer errors. This is the process-automation core of the product. The home page pitches it as a way to standardize processes in manufacturing, construction, agroindustry and food, supervise tasks, control quality and improve plant efficiency.

Collect with smart forms. Forms are how information gets gathered in the field. The company says its forms can fire automations depending on the answer: they can route a case onward, raise an alert or create a task automatically. So a form is the front door to a process rather than a standalone survey.

Connect. The platform centralizes data and synchronizes ERP and CRM systems, MCP servers and other tools, so your systems sit on one platform. Under "Integraciones ERP, CRM, Satellites y IOT" (ERP, CRM, satellite and IoT integrations), the company says its API lets a process query, read and write information from external sources in real time, so the whole process ecosystem is managed in one place and from the field.

Execute in the field. The mobile app works offline and syncs tasks as soon as a connection returns. That matters for a product aimed at ports, plants, construction and energy sites, where the people doing the work are rarely at a desk. The company's tagline for this step is to take your processes out to the field.

Control with dashboards. You supervise KPIs and improve decisions with customizable dashboards, and the site promises a view of your operation in real time.

Buddy, the AI assistant. Buddy is a conversational assistant built on Gemini AI. The company says it indexes your Cotalker documents, workflows and SOPs, lets people ask, search or run processes straight from the chat in natural language, and answers with real context using permissions, metadata and living knowledge. Its page frames the problems it targets: documents scattered across drives, emails and platforms, processes few people know, and delays in support and execution. Buddy's four headline benefits are speed, real context, adoption and scalability. It also points users to Cotalker Academy, documentation, case studies and a partner portal for learning.

cotctl for developers. For technical teams, the home page describes cotctl as compatible with any LLM. It lets you version your implementation as code and automate it with a language model of your choice. That is the closest thing to an escape hatch into code that the pages describe.

LLM Runner and documents over MCP. Two more AI pieces sit beside Buddy. LLM Runner lets you configure bots with the language model and system prompt you prefer, connected to external MCP servers that give them tools and context. A second feature indexes your company's documents and notes and exposes them as an MCP server, so any compatible client can consume them as context.

Where it fits by industry. The site groups use cases into areas. Production and quality covers manufacturing, construction, agroindustry and food. Security and compliance covers audits, protocols and reports in regulated industries such as mining, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and health. Operations and logistics covers inventories, supplies and maintenance in sectors like retail, transport, ports and energy, and the company says it centralizes traceability there and secures operational continuity. The enterprise page adds a services and finance area with the same audit, protocol and reporting focus.

Who runs it afterward. The site's wording gives the day-to-day to the operations side: processes are created low-code, bots are configured, and dashboards are customized by the team using them. Cotalker's own people stay around through support and sales contacts and through partners, and the About page introduces a team of project managers, project engineers, software and DevOps engineers and support staff alongside the CEO and COO.

What the pages say

Numbers the company publishes. Under "algunas métricas que importan" (some metrics that matter), the home page lists 7 countries, more than 12,000 incident reports managed in the field every month, 97% of users highlighting a positive change thanks to the app, 68% of time saved by users compared with manual operation, and an 88% reduction in calls to tech support by users. The enterprise page adds that more than 100 companies have already digitalized their processes with Cotalker. These are the company's own claims.

Security. The footer of every page states an information security management system certified ISO/IEC 27001:2022, registration number MX-2024CRI-353.

Pricing. The site publishes no prices; the calls to action are "Agenda tu demo" (book your demo) and a WhatsApp conversation.

Support and contact. The site offers Support, Sales and WhatsApp contacts, plus documentation, a blog, a partners page and a login. Buddy's page also mentions Cotalker Academy and an exclusive partner portal.

Who it suits and who it does not

Cotalker suits an operations team with real fieldwork: quality inspections in a plant, safety audits in mining or pharma, inventory and maintenance routines across stores or ports. The reader this product belongs to is the operations lead who wants to replace a WhatsApp, email and Excel chain with a standardized process, an app that keeps working offline and a dashboard the supervisor can read. The ISO/IEC 27001:2022 statement and the audit and protocol focus also make it a reasonable shortlist item for an IT team in a regulated industry.

It is a poorer fit for a founder who wants a public website, a store or a marketing funnel, and for a small team that wants to sign up, pick a plan and start the same afternoon, since the site routes you through a demo and publishes no price. The site is written in Spanish, which matters for a team that works in English only. Developers get cotctl, LLM Runner and the MCP features, though the product is built around configured processes rather than a general app canvas.
