What it is

Topmate is a hosted page-and-booking platform for experts who sell their knowledge: mentors, career coaches, consultants, educators and creators. The homepage invites visitors to "Create your Topmate page in a flash" and "Start earning $$ by the time you finish reading our website." It is not a general site builder or an app builder. What you build is a personal storefront where people book your time, join your sessions and buy what you have made. The homepage headline calls it "Your All-in-One Creator Storefront" and says you can sell products, host sessions and grow your business from a single link. Next to its sign-up button it claims "100k+ reviews" and "1mn+ professionals".

Its own comparison post positions it against creator monetization tools for people running paid communities, courses and consulting, and sums up its pitch as "Instant payouts. Automated WhatsApp communication." alongside 1:1 calendar bookings.

What you build and how

The homepage lays the product out as 5 steps, and they are the clearest description of what you can build.

  1. Offer 1:1 sessions. "Mentorship sessions, consultations, discovery calls - do what you do best. We take care of everything else." This is the scheduling core. A client picks a slot and books a session with you.
  2. Set up Priority DM. The page says you can set up a priority direct message offer "in seconds", a way for people to message you directly.
  3. Host a webinar. Webinars sit alongside sessions on the same page.
  4. Bundle your services. Several offers can be packaged together. The example listings include a "1:1 · 5 sessions" offer, so multi-session packages are part of the model.
  5. Sell courses and products. The marketplace shows what that looks like in practice, with written guides, toolkits, eBooks and a short paid consultation priced in rupees. A 2-week health package, for example, lists a personalized diet plan, a follow-up session, basic nutrition guidance and limited chat support, all under a single price.

Beyond the 5 steps, the homepage features longer programs. Listings show a "12-week live cohort", a "6-week live cohort", an "~8-week sprint", a "Self-paced playbook" and a "Live cohort" for relocation. So the platform handles group programs with a fixed length as well as one-to-one time. The homepage groups the top cohorts under topics such as Career, Data & AI, Study Abroad, Software, HR, Finance, Startup, Mentor, Astrology, Marketing and Product & Design.

The data and integration layer is simple and hosted. A testimonial credits Topmate for the "integrations with Calendar, Zoom and WhatsApp." The comparison post describes the booking side the same way: "1:1 calendar bookings" plus automated WhatsApp communication, and "secure digital product hosting" for downloadable products. Another testimonial calls it a "go-to platform for scheduling 1:1 sessions and hosting webinars," and a third says "All my monetisation now happens in one place." A banner on the homepage announces a newer automation as well: "Instagram Auto DM is here!", pitched as a way to "Automate your Instagram DM's". The model is a self-contained destination page that you link to from your social profiles.

What the buyer sees is a profile page with offers, and a public marketplace where profiles and courses can be discovered. Profile cards on the homepage carry social proof such as "22K+ bookings", "3,800+ mentored", "1,000+ relocations guided" and follower counts like "110K+ followers". Reviews appear on course listings, for example "2 reviews" and "4 reviews" next to the lower-priced items.

On the creator side, the comparison post makes several claims about how payouts and customer data should work. It says waiting "15 to 30 days" for funds is unacceptable and presents Topmate as the platform that "settles your funds instantly." It argues that creators need "full, unrestricted access to your customer data, emails, and phone numbers", and says modern platforms offer "one click import tools" for bringing an existing email list and customer data from another platform.

The evidence from the pages

The pages publish no pricing plans. The homepage FAQ headings ask "Can I conduct paid sessions?", "How much can I charge for my sessions?", "How do the payments work?", "Wait, is Topmate really free?" and "What are the transaction charges?", but the answers are not in the page text, so this entry quotes no fee, percentage or payout schedule beyond the company's "instant payouts" claim. The site also lists a Pricing link in its footer.

What the pages do show:

  • Marketplace prices in rupees, set by each creator, from ₹99 for a tax return check, ₹100 for a self-care eBook, ₹299 for a mental health first aid guide and ₹399 for a mental wellness toolkit, up to ₹999 for the 2-week health package.
  • Social proof counters on profile cards, such as "3,800+ mentored", "22K+ bookings", "17K followers", "867K followers" and "94K followers".
  • Testimonials from named users, including one who describes themselves as the founder of Data Engineer Things and another as a speaker with "320K on LinkedIn". These are user quotes, not a customer list.
  • Another testimonial says "The team is extremely helpful and cares a lot about feedback. They keep rolling out new features too!"
  • Free items alongside paid ones: the health and wellness marketplace page offers a price filter for free courses and lists a free course next to the rupee-priced ones.

Who it suits and who it does not

Topmate suits an individual expert who already has an audience, or wants one, and would rather sell time and small products from one link than assemble a booking tool, a course host and a payment page separately. The examples lean toward career coaching, data and AI mentoring, relocation advice and wellness, but the topic list also includes HR, finance, marketing and astrology. The marketplace gives newer creators a place to be found, with reviews and counters building up over time.

It suits less well a business that wants to run its own branded booking experience, a team that needs shared staff calendars, or anyone who needs deep automation. The integrations it names are Calendar, Zoom and WhatsApp, plus the Instagram DM automation. The missing fee detail is the main caveat: the homepage raises transaction charges as an FAQ question without a figure in its text. The marketplace examples are priced in rupees.
