What Reservio is
Reservio is online scheduling software for appointments and group events. Its site names the businesses it has in mind: hair salons, barbershops, gyms, medical clinics, consultations, yoga studios and teachers. It is for the owner of a small service business who wants clients to book and pay online, with client management, team management and reminders in the same tool. The company's headquarters is in Brno, Czech Republic, and its about page says one-third of the team works remotely. It describes itself as a member of ABUGO Group.
What you build and how
You build a booking presence rather than an app. Reservio gives each business a free booking website where clients can explore your services and pricing, check staff availability, schedule appointments or classes and pay securely online. You can also share a booking link, which can point to a service, a staff member or a time, or put a QR code on social media, email or printed material. If you already have a website, the features page says you can embed a booking form or button on it. The booking website is customizable, and a branded app option lets you build a relationship with clients through your own app rather than a shared one.
On your side, bookings are managed in the web platform or in the Reservio Business mobile app for iOS and Android. The app gives you the schedule calendar, client management, reports and payment summaries. For clients there are app options: one carrying your own branding, and a service portal where people discover businesses near them. The portal is available in selected regions only. The mobile page describes both apps as free: one is the booking system for business owners, the other a marketplace where clients discover and book businesses, available for iOS and Android. Clients get an overview of their bookings, can check their loyalty program status, review services and update their details.
Team management is where the tool moves beyond a personal diary. You set custom working hours for each staff member, sync calendars, and send staff notifications. The features page lists shifts, vacations and team performance. Secure multi-level access lets staff manage their own appointments. The company also says Reservio integrates with tools such as Google Calendar and Outlook, though the pages name those two and little else.
Client management keeps detailed profiles and booking history, and loyalty tools are there to retain customers. Reminders go out by SMS and email to reduce no-shows. SMS reminders are an extra cost, and the home page lists automated SMS reminders, expanded staff scheduling and marketing tools among the things you get as you upgrade. A reporting area covers bookings, revenue and customer data from one dashboard.
For people who want to go further, there is a developers page. It offers API access and other developer tools for building an integration or a custom solution, and it invites 2 kinds of partners: integration partners, who extend Reservio to their own users, and solution partners, who integrate Reservio into a website or system. The ideas it lists include a booking button added with HTML code, an embedded iframe that lists services, appointments and events, custom reports, and internal system sync. You contact the company to receive the API documentation.
Evidence from the pages
The pricing page shows a ladder of plans billed per month plus VAT. The Free plan is described as a "great choice for new businesses at the beginning of their journey." Starter is "perfect for solo professionals who need smart tools to manage bookings." Standard is made "for small businesses focused on building customer loyalty," and Pro is "designed for larger teams looking for an all-in-one management software." The Free plan card lists 40 bookings per 30 days, 100 clients, a booking website, web, Android and iOS apps, and email booking messages. The plan features list also includes unlimited bookings, multi-level user access, user permissions management, removing the Reservio brand and custom integrations via API. The page marks multi-location businesses and custom scheduling solutions as a contact-us case. This write-up gives no paid-plan amounts, so check the pricing page for the current ones.
Other terms are stated plainly. Payment fees are listed from 3.00% + $2.55, with a link to detailed fees. Additional charges apply for SMS reminders. Prices exclude VAT, which depends on the billing country. When you upgrade you only pay the difference between your current plan and the new one. There is a 15-day money-back guarantee, which gives a full refund on your first paid order, and the page says payments use 256-bit SSL encryption.
The about page gives the scale the company claims: 20 M bookings per year, 500 K satisfied businesses, 23 employees and 14 languages. The same page says it offers a 50% discount to non-profits, that the product is tailored for the visually impaired, and that during the COVID-19 pandemic it provided its booking system to hospitals for free. The copyright line runs from 2012 to 2026. These are the company's numbers, and the pages do not name the businesses behind them. The pages state no compliance certification, hosting region or uptime figure.
Who it suits and who it does not
Reservio suits a solo practitioner or a small team that needs a working booking website quickly and wants to start on a free plan. A hairdresser, a yoga teacher or a small clinic can take bookings, accept online payments and send reminders without touching code. The 40-booking monthly allowance on the free plan fits a business just starting out, and the plan ladder gives a path to staff scheduling and branding as the team grows.
Know the limits before committing. Free caps you at 40 bookings per 30 days and 100 clients, SMS reminders cost extra, and removing the Reservio brand and custom API integrations appear among the plan features, so confirm which tier includes them. The client marketplace app is limited to selected regions. This is a scheduling product, not a general builder: you configure services, staff and rules, and the pages describe no custom data model, workflow builder or code export. A multi-location business or one needing a custom scheduling solution is told to contact the company.
