What it is
aanmelder.nl is event management software that bundles registration, communication and administration for event organizers, and it includes an Event Website Builder for putting up the event's own site. The company's Dutch homepage describes "software voor eventregistratie, -communicatie en -administratie", with smooth event check-in and an online event platform inside a secure environment. It is aimed at the organizer who runs events such as job fairs and wants one system for the website, the sign-up form, the tickets and the follow-up emails. The company is based at Phoenixstraat in Delft, the Netherlands, its site is published in Dutch, German and English, and the event websites it produces can be offered in Dutch, English and German. The menu claims support for more than 101,000 events (the English version says 100k+ successful events).
What you build and how
An event starts in the Event Website Builder, which the company describes as "user-friendly and works according to the what-you-see-is-what-you-get principle". Changes show up immediately, and "content can easily be adjusted using drag & drop": you move elements, change page layouts or edit content in place. The company says you can launch a personalized event website with registration forms, programs and speaker information without technical knowledge, and that the builder is managed entirely inside the Event Management software.
Each event can have its own site. You decide the content of the pages, which elements are visible and how the site is structured. Branding covers colors, logos and the overall visual identity, and the page lists pre-designed event templates as a starting point. The site is responsive, with a mobile-friendly design for all screen sizes. You can publish under your own domain name, or have the company set one up for you, and the registration form can either sit inside the event site or be embedded on a website you already have. Registrations are processed in the platform and linked to participant management and communication. A white-label version with no visible aanmelder.nl branding is offered for an additional fee.
Event-specific widgets are what separate it from a general site builder. The FAQ names an interactive program, speaker management and display, sponsor showcases, a location widget and a registration form with tiered ticketing options. Speakers can be imported and are managed in the software, linked to program sessions, so an edit to a speaker shows up in the linked sessions and pages. Sponsors added to the event appear in the appropriate sections of the site automatically. A program can have multiple tracks, which suits parallel sessions, different themes or multi-day events, and participants can filter it by track or session.
Registration is the center of the product. The page says you design the registration process step by step with a form builder, and the Dutch homepage describes participant registration, ticket sales and communication as a single Event Management product. The company also lists mailings that are automated and personalized, financial administration and abstract handling as parts of the same system, and a recent feature note describes a separate environment for authors and reviewers in abstract handling. Another note announces copying pages from earlier events. In a testimonial, a UWV Events Rijnmond coordinator says the team creates an event by cloning an old one and adjusting it.
On the day, Event Check-in lets staff scan each participant's personal QR code at the entrance while a personalized badge prints. For events that run online or hybrid, the Event Platform hosts sessions that people can join from anywhere, and Event Streaming uses AI to cut the recordings, adjust camera angles and put presentation slides into the stream. The homepage presents these as software and hardware that work together: badge printers, equipment you can lease for check-in, a Check-in Mobile option and a Prospector app for scanning leads.
Around the website itself, the builder page lists features from the wider Event Management product: online ticket sales, surveys and event statistics, automated personalized emails, and optional finance and abstract add-ons. Attendee lists can be segmented into groups so you can message each group separately, and the blog covers waitlists for events that reach capacity. Landing pages, search engine optimization and social sharing are listed for promotion, and on request the event site can be included in your GA4 property. The menu also lists Integrations ("Connect your favorite tools") and an API reference with technical documentation, plus a separate page aimed at IT teams and developers.
Security, trial and support
The company states that it is ISO27001:2022 certified by DNV, with the certificate and statement of applicability available for download, and says it has SOC 2 Type II, which it describes as useful in conversations with an IT manager or compliance officer. It also says it is fully GDPR compliant, with privacy-by-design, a dedicated Data Protection Officer and clear processes for data rights, that all data is hosted in the EU, and that processor agreements are based on EU Model Clauses. These are the company's own claims on its homepage.
The homepage offers a 30-day free trial of Event Management ("Probeer nu 30 dagen gratis", try it free for 30 days) and a demo request. The pages carry a Pricing link in the menu but quote no figures themselves, and the white-label version is the one item marked as costing extra.
For larger organizers, the builder page lists user management with access rights per user in a dashboard, SSO login on request, and suborganizations and teams for central management.
The event website page frames the builder as part of an all-in-one system, combining the event site with registration forms, automated and personalized mailings, ticketing, financial administration and abstract handling. Existing customers keep the older builder and can switch to the new one from their account, which the company says has a more modern look and widgets developed for event organizers. A contact form leads to an event expert who gives advice, and the homepage points existing customers to a support team, a knowledge base and an FAQ, with separate support and sales phone lines in Delft.
The homepage carries a second testimonial, from Timothy, an event coordinator at ECP, who says "all the steps are clearly laid out. Even for those less familiar with the software." Reviews quoted on the builder page come via G2 and Google; one G2 reviewer singles out the ability to generate badges on the spot without pre-printing.
Who it suits and who it does not
aanmelder.nl suits an organizer who wants the event website, the sign-up flow and the attendee communication in one tool, especially one that repeats events and wants to clone last year's setup. Event teams with several tracks and many speakers get the program, speaker and sponsor widgets without assembling them by hand. Organizers who need on-site check-in with printed badges, or a streamed hybrid event, find those under the same roof, and a team with a security questionnaire can point to the compliance claims above.
The limits are scope and price visibility. This is an event tool, not a general website or app builder, so it will not run a portfolio site, a store or an internal workflow. The pages shown quote no prices, and white labeling costs extra. The sponsor promotion widget on the builder page is still marked "Coming soon!" even though the FAQ describes showing sponsors, so check which version of that feature you get.
