What SigmaMind AI is

SigmaMind AI is a voice AI platform for teams that run phone operations. The homepage says you can "Deploy AI voice agents that call and answer like a real person", for small teams, mid-size floors and enterprise call centers working on their existing telephony. The company's own blog describes it as a developer-first platform that "combines a visual builder with APIs and webhooks so engineers and CX teams can treat agents like applications", and names engineers, CX builders, agencies and BPOs as its audience. The site footer says it is building from San Francisco, CA. Agents take inbound support and onboarding conversations as well as outbound campaigns, and one homepage story covers AI handling support tickets across subscriptions, returns and refunds, which is why the product also sits among chatbot builders, although the pages describe phone conversations first.

What you build and how

The platform menu lists 4 parts: an Agent Builder to design voice agents for any call workflow, a Playground to test conversations before going live, an App Library of ready-made agent templates, and Analytics to track calls and performance in real time. The FAQ adds that you define the script and call logic in a prompt builder, so each campaign is tuned to your offer and vertical.

The homepage lays out the process in 4 steps. You connect: plug into your existing dialer and CRM, with "Nothing to rip out." You build: spin up an AI voice agent for your campaign, "or we'll build it with you." You launch: the agent dials, qualifies, books and follows up across as many calls as you need at once. You hand off: warm, qualified prospects transfer live to your human agents with full context.

The FAQ is specific about where the product sits in a call center. SigmaMind "layers on top of the infrastructure you already run." It connects to VICIdial, Five9, NICE, Genesys and other contact center and dialer platforms, and the features section adds Convoso; the dialer keeps dialing and routes connected calls to AI agents, while SIP trunks, lead lists and reporting stay intact. Every call is logged, categorized by outcome and pushed into a CRM such as HubSpot, GoHighLevel or Pipedrive, or into reporting tools via webhooks.

What agents do is listed plainly. You can build agents for inbound or outbound calls covering lead generation, support, sales, reminders, onboarding, collections and operational workflows. Outbound is the stated specialty: high-volume campaigns in conversion-heavy, regulated verticals including insurance sales, debt collection and ARM, home services, solar and mortgage, where agents qualify leads, verify intent, deliver first-call pitches, book appointments and route warm prospects to closers. Solution pages also cover retail and e-commerce, healthcare patient intake and reminders, edtech counseling calls, telecom support, real estate showings and hospitality bookings.

The model layer is configurable. The blog says you pick any LLM, naming GPT-4o/5, Claude Sonnet 4.5 and Gemini 2.5 Ultra, mix STT engines such as Deepgram and AssemblyAI, and choose a TTS provider such as ElevenLabs, Cartesia, Rime or OpenAI, with 400+ voices and ~20 LLMs to optimize unit economics. In the flow you wire in your CRM, payment gateways, ticketing tools and internal APIs.

The call itself is built for phone lines. The homepage claims sub-800ms latency with natural interruption handling and accurate answering machine detection, and the FAQ says SigmaMind handles hundreds of concurrent calls with unlimited AI sessions. Escalation and transfer triggers can be set for disputes, hardship, legal threats or low confidence, and the human agent receives the full context and a call summary on screen before saying hello.

Monitoring is built around transcripts. Every conversation is captured, transcribed and scored against your own rubric, with live supervisor monitoring, automatic dispositions, campaign analytics and dashboards on containment, transfer rate and disposition mix. You own access to all transcripts and recordings and can export them to your own systems.

Pricing, compliance and results

The FAQ describes pricing as "Flexible, pay-as-you-go pricing, no fixed monthly fees or concurrency limits. Pay only for the minutes you use each month," with custom discounted pricing for enterprise customers. The blog explains the breakdown: you pay per minute and per model, with the platform fee, STT, TTS, LLM and telephony costs itemized, no mandatory enterprise contracts and no concurrency fees. A pricing page is linked for the rates.

On compliance, the homepage lists TCPA-conscious calling controls, recordings and transcripts for every interaction, secure handling of customer and call data, and "HIPAA compliant". The FAQ adds STIR/SHAKEN call authentication, configurable disclosures and consent handling for outbound under TCPA and FDCPA, plus SOC2-compliant security and private cloud deployment options, and the blog mentions multi-workspace billing for agencies and BPOs.

The homepage use cases carry the company's own figures: 8x more dials than human agents and 75% lower cost per qualified lead in lead generation; $1 vs $8 per contact and 4.7+ CSAT in support; $0.50 vs $8 per contact and a 30% better recovery rate in debt collection. Named customer stories follow. Mike Wedeking, founder and CEO, reports cost per lead down to $2 from $15 at 20,000 calls a day, with 100% of qualification calls handled by AI and headcount going from 25 to 6. Dave Welsh, Chief Customer Officer, reports 80% of inbound calls resolved end to end and a peak drop-call rate under 1%, down from 3%+, with 30 AI agents answering at once. Sharon Watson, Director of Customer Experience, says AI now handles 80% of tickets across subscriptions, returns, refunds and order tracking.

Who it suits and who it does not

SigmaMind suits a call center, BPO or lead generation agency that already has a dialer and a CRM and wants AI agents to take the first, repetitive part of the call. It is built for high-volume outbound in insurance, collections, home services, solar and mortgage. Model choice per agent suits teams that tune quality against cost, and usage billing with no concurrency fee suits agencies that scale campaigns up and down across client accounts.

It is a less natural fit for a team without telephony or a dialer, since the pitch centers on layering onto one. Model flexibility also brings work: with a choice of STT, LLM and TTS comes the job of testing them, and the bill is itemized by component rather than flat.
