What Directorly is

Directorly is an all-in-one directory platform that combines a visual page builder, AI-powered data collection, custom domain hosting, and built-in monetization. It's aimed at founders and small teams building profitable directory websites in days instead of months. Most traditional directory builders hand you an empty template and ask you to fill it; Directorly populates listings automatically with AI and includes every tool a directory business needs from launch.

What you build and how

Directorly starts with AI agents that discover and enrich hundreds of business listings automatically. You define your niche, location, and categories, and the AI agents discover verified businesses, contact information, hours, descriptions, and more without you lifting a finger. Every listing gets a unique, AI-written description tailored to its category and location, so you don't get duplicate content or blank profiles. A typical directory can be live in less than 1 day from idea, with hundreds of listings ready on day one, and 0 lines of code required. The hardest part of launching a directory is usually sourcing and writing descriptions for listings. Directorly automates that step, meaning your time bottleneck shifts from content creation to marketing and growth.

The visual page builder is a true drag-and-drop editor. You customize every section of your directory website without writing code. Rearrange components, change colors, swap layouts, and add pages all in a live editor that shows exactly what visitors will see. The block library includes hero sections, search bars, listing grids, maps, CTAs, and more. You get a live preview on desktop and mobile, plus custom branding for fonts, colors, logos and spacing, and multi-page sites with home, category, about and contact pages. Custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are available if you want to go deeper. This means you're not locked into one design. You can make the directory match your brand exactly.

Data comes from the AI agents primarily. The FAQ has entries on importing an existing WordPress directory and on owning and exporting your data, and the feature list names Data Export, though the page text does not show the answers, so confirm the details with the company before you plan a migration either way.

For publishing, Directorly handles custom domains with automatic SSL certificate provisioning and renewal, global CDN for fast page loads everywhere, and no "powered by" branding. It's fully white-labeled. One-click custom domain connection with guided DNS setup means professional infrastructure without the infrastructure work. Hosting is included.

Monetization is built from day one. Featured listings get priority placement in search results so vendors can pay to stand out. Ad space management lets you configure zones and pricing, allowing you to earn from multiple revenue streams. Stripe integration is built in and works out of the box, meaning setup takes minutes rather than days. You get recurring billing and automatic invoicing included, with no complex third-party plugins to manage. This makes profitability straightforward. You set prices, the platform handles payment collection and recurring charges, and money flows to your Stripe account.

SEO is part of the pitch. The page says SEO setup, sitemaps and structured data are not left as your problem, lists SEO Tools and a Blog System among the features, and compares itself with WordPress directory plugins on auto-generated SEO and structured data, a custom domain with SSL and CDN, and no WordPress hosting required. Lead Collection sits beside them in the feature list, so visitors can be turned into contacts as well as traffic. The company also publishes a free course on building directories.

The company organizes its feature list into 5 groups: Page Builder, AI Intelligence, SEO and Content, Monetization, and Integrations and Data. It describes the launch as 4 steps: define your niche, let AI populate the directory, customize the design, then go live on your own domain, at which point the page says Stripe activates and the SEO tools start working. The home page promises a launch "in 20 minutes or less", while the use-case page says "before lunch" and "less than 1 day". Those are the company's own timings, and they cover the site itself. Your own time for checking AI-sourced listings and choosing prices sits on top.

Plans and pricing

The pricing section says every plan includes the page builder, hosting, AI agents, SEO tools, blog, and monetization features, and that you start with a $1 trial with no setup fees and cancel anytime. Plans are billed monthly or yearly.

Starter costs $25 per month with 100 starter AI credits, 1 directory website, 50 listings, 5 custom pages and 1 blog post. Pro costs $49 per month with unlimited listings, 10 custom pages and 10 blog posts, 1 directory website and a selectable AI credit amount. Growth is marked Popular at $99 per month: 3 directory websites, unlimited listings, custom pages and blog posts, and 10 collaborators. Agency costs $249 per month with unlimited directory websites, listings, pages, blog posts and collaborators. The plan columns also name custom integrations, custom HTML, CSS and JavaScript, payments, lead collection, paid ads, branding removal, and webhooks and API, but the page text does not show which plan carries which, so read the live comparison before you pick a tier.

Enterprise pricing is custom. Contact sales for details.

You can also buy AI credits as a one-time purchase for immediate use. The company says to start with a $1 trial. The page does not say how long the trial lasts, so check that before you sign up. Support is by email, and the site says the team typically responds within a few hours.

Who it suits and who it does not

Directorly suits founders building their first directory or scaling to multiple niches. The $1 trial keeps the cost of testing an idea low. The home page says it is trusted by directory owners in healthcare, real estate, restaurants, professional services, SaaS and tech, and local business, and the product copy gives examples such as dentists in Denver, coworking spaces in London and yoga studios nationwide.

It works well for small teams running directory businesses, since the AI handles the hardest part (finding and describing listings) and the visual editor means no coding skills are needed. Stripe payments and featured listing pricing are part of the platform from the first day.

It's less suited for very large enterprises needing custom infrastructure or massive scale, and an Enterprise tier with custom AI credit plans exists for them to quote. The product pages describe no multi-language support, so a directory in several languages is something to verify first.

The platform is hosted for you, and the pages mention no self-hosting option, so a team that must run the directory on its own infrastructure should ask first. The AI credit model means costs can grow if you're constantly populating hundreds of new listings each month, though the Growth plan with 3 directories may be more cost-effective for multiple properties.
