What Octoboard is

Octoboard is a no-code marketing and ecommerce analytics platform. Its home page puts it plainly: use your cloud data to increase revenue, optimize online advertising, and convert and retain customers. It is a dashboard and reporting tool for marketing teams and agencies first, with side doors for web analytics teams, PPC analysts and SaaS or ecommerce operators.

The company describes itself as offering more than data visualization: a marketing and ecommerce data analytics platform that helps online businesses use cloud data to retain customers, increase revenue and grow. The pages we hold do not name a headquarters or a founding year, so none is given here.

What you build and how

The things you build in Octoboard are dashboards and reports. The home page says to use it to build analytics reports, track keyword ranking, create client portals, optimize ad spend and increase revenue through customer engagement. Dashboards are real-time, and the product pages keep returning to the same job: watch budgets and measure the effectiveness of every dollar spent on paid advertising.

The feature list on the home page reads like a map of the product: marketing data analytics, advanced customer analytics, customer segmentation, paid advertising analytics, OpenAI data insights, a keyword rank tracker, B2B lead generation, and sending data to Google Sheets. A second page adds automated reporting, a white label client portal and sending data to BigQuery. The platform is sold by team type, and each team gets its own bundle.

For marketing teams and agencies, the site lists real-time marketing dashboards, automated SEO, PPC and SEM reports, white label client portals and reporting, lead generation features, and keyword analytics with embedded SEO audits. The embedded SEO audit is aimed at agencies: the site says it lets a marketing agency capture website visitors and convert them to customers, and that all of it is 100% white labeled.

For web analytics teams, the list is real-time analytics dashboards, live web page heatmaps, identifying companies visiting your website, using ChatGPT to build reports, and exporting data to Google Sheets and BigQuery.

For PPC data analytics teams, it names advanced PPC data analytics, cross-channel PPC reporting, custom data transformations, exports to BigQuery, Looker and Google Sheets, and secure data warehouse access.

For SaaS and ecommerce, it lists customer and product analytics, customer segmentation and engagement, email marketing campaigns and automations, and Stripe, WooCommerce and Shopify analytics. Those 3 are the only named data sources on the pages, so they are the ones to rely on when you plan a build.

White label is the feature the site leans on hardest. Custom report headers and logos, custom email domains, email templates, and white label client portals hosted on your own website are all listed as included add-ons. A client who logs into the portal sees the agency's site, not a third-party tool.

The AI piece is ChatGPT data insights. The site says Octoboard uses ChatGPT to capture and distribute data trends to end clients: the data is analyzed by the OpenAI engine, and annotations are added automatically to weekly email reports. It also says you do not need to pay for the ChatGPT data connection, because Octoboard offers it for free. So the practical output is a weekly email to your client with notes written into the numbers.

Getting data out is covered in several ways. A Google Sheets add-on installs directly from Google Marketplace; Octoboard exports your data and keeps refreshing it. For analytics teams, there is access to an EU-hosted data warehouse that can be queried with the BI tool of your choice. And Octoboard can send the data it has collected to BigQuery, Looker and Google Data Studio.

What the end user experiences depends on who that is. For an agency client, it is a branded portal and a weekly email. For an in-house marketer, it is a live dashboard of ad spend and keyword positions. For an ecommerce owner, it is customer segments and campaign tools on top of store data.

What the pages state

Pricing is short. The site's headline is "All from just €18 per month," and it says the features described start from that price. Beyond the starting figure, the pages we hold list no plan names and no tier table, so a team that needs an exact quote should look at the pricing page itself.

The terms around that price are specific. You can downgrade or upgrade at any time. You can change from a yearly to a monthly plan at any time. You can add and remove premium add-ons. Octoboard says it will always calculate your usage accurately down to the minute. A "Try Octoboard for free" button appears on the pages, but the trial length and its limits are not stated.

The free list is the most distinctive claim. The site says Octoboard offers unlimited users, dashboards, reports, automated SEO audits and white label client portals with custom email domains as free features. It also says the keyword rank tracker is a free feature in all plans. The practical reading is that seats and dashboards are not the unit you are billed on, while premium add-ons and usage are.

The company says its business dashboards are used by 18,000+ businesses. That is a company claim made on a comparison page against Datapine, and the pages do not say how the figure is counted or name any of those customers.

On security and hosting, the one claim is the EU-hosted data warehouse. The pages we hold make no SOC 2, ISO, GDPR or HIPAA claim, and they do not describe role-based permissions, audit logs or single sign-on.

On support, the pages show a login and a trial button, and no support channel or onboarding program is described.

Who it suits

Octoboard suits a marketing agency that reports to clients every week. White label portals on your own domain, custom email domains, automated SEO, PPC and SEM reports and an embedded SEO audit are the whole pitch, and the site says they come as included add-ons rather than as a premium tier. Unlimited users means an agency does not need to count seats before inviting account managers.

It suits a freelancer or a small ecommerce team that wants ad spend, keyword rank and customer segments in one place. The free rank tracker and the ChatGPT annotations cover work that would otherwise need separate tools, and the starting price of €18 a month keeps the experiment small. Changing billing period or removing an add-on at any time lowers the cost of getting it wrong.

It suits PPC and web analytics specialists who want a warehouse behind the dashboards. The EU-hosted data warehouse, plus exports to BigQuery, Looker and Google Sheets, means the numbers are not trapped in the dashboard.

Limits to weigh. The pages describe no role-based access controls, audit logs or single sign-on, so a team with strict governance rules should confirm those before committing. The named data sources on the pages are narrow: Stripe, WooCommerce and Shopify, plus the Google destinations. A team whose data lives somewhere else should check the integration list first. The ChatGPT insights are annotations on weekly emails, not a chat interface for your data. And the price shown is a starting point, so the cost of the plan you actually need is not on these pages.
