What Embedful is
Embedful is a no-code dashboard builder aimed at one job, putting analytics in front of customers, clients and partners without running a BI stack. Its site pitches the product to SaaS teams, agencies and consultants: connect an existing data source, configure one dashboard, and embed a secure view for every customer account, with "no analytics infrastructure for your team to deploy or operate." The pages do not say where the company is based or when it was founded.
What you build and how
The editor and the data layer. You build dashboards from charts, tables and KPI counters, and the company says no coding, BI expertise or engineering resources are needed. Data comes from outside: the product pages list Google Analytics (GA4), Google Sheets, CSV files, Excel files, APIs and manually entered metrics, and the templates page adds publicly accessible CSV API endpoints and direct connections to PostgreSQL, MySQL and Firebase. The site says more integrations "continue to be added over time." There is no built-in database to design; Embedful is the presentation layer over what you already have. The pitch is to avoid "deploying analytics services in your cloud."
Customer-scoped dashboards. This is the feature the product is organized around. When you build a Customer Dashboard, you choose which database column identifies the customer, and that column enforces data separation so each customer sees only their own rows. The site says you can preview the dashboard with real customer data before embedding. A comparison page gives an example: if your database already has an organization_id column, you can use it as the tenant column. When a customer logs in, your backend passes their identity to Embedful, and the embedded view is scoped at render time. Embedful generates backend code for creating secure, short-lived tokens for each viewer. One dashboard configuration serves every customer, so you do not build a copy per account. The company lists usage, revenue and subscription metrics as typical customer-facing content.
Embedding and sharing. The embed drops into a SaaS app, website or customer portal, and Embedful handles the dashboard interface and rendering. Dashboards can also be shared by link or exported as images and PDFs. The pricing page lists public share links, shortened links and password protection, depending on plan.
Branding. The FAQ says you can customize colors, styling and layouts so dashboards feel like part of your product or client experience. The pricing page lists white-label dashboards on the Pro and Agency plans and Embedful branding on the free plan.
Templates. Templates are starting layouts inside broader use cases, with a SaaS Metrics Dashboard and an Agency Client Report named as examples. You can add or remove charts, change the data source, rearrange sections and apply your branding. Any dashboard you build can be saved as your own reusable template, which the company points out helps agencies and consultants who deliver a similar structure to every new client. The site invites requests for templates it does not have yet.
Solutions the product covers. 5 solution pages share one product: customer-facing dashboards embedded in your own app, client reporting that replaces manual reports for agencies and consultants, white-label analytics, customer portals that drop live dashboards into a portal you already have, and executive dashboards that roll up metrics for internal stakeholders. Each dashboard is built and published independently, so a single account can run an embedded customer dashboard beside an internal executive view. The industries page names SaaS companies, marketing agencies, e-commerce brands, professional services firms and data consultants. The site also says viewers do not cost a seat each.
What it does not claim. The pages describe no built-in database, no mobile app, no AI dashboard generation and no self-hosting. Its FAQ argues that AI tools can help generate code or dashboard prototypes, but you still have to build, host, secure and maintain the result, which is the gap Embedful says it fills. On whether it replaces a BI platform, the FAQ answers "For many customer-facing analytics use cases, yes."
The evidence from the company's pages
The pricing page offers a monthly and a yearly view, with the yearly view marked "20% off." The plan prices below are quoted as "per month, billed annually."
- Free, $0. No credit card needed. 1 internal dashboard, up to 2 widgets, CSV and Excel uploads, file uploads up to 500 rows, manual data refresh, public sharing only, Embedful branding, 1 builder. Described as "for testing and personal use."
- Starter, $31. Up to 10 internal dashboards, up to 14 widgets, CSV, Excel, Sheets, GA4 and API sources, no direct database connection, file uploads up to 1,000 rows, manual refresh, public share links only, shortened links, no Embedful branding. "For internal team reporting."
- Pro, $71. 25 customer dashboards, unlimited customer viewers, up to 30 widgets, the same sources plus PostgreSQL, MySQL and Firebase, file uploads up to 2,000 rows, automatic data refresh, password protection, shortened links, white-label dashboards, up to 5 builders. "For customer-facing analytics."
- Agency, $159. 100 customer dashboards, unlimited customer viewers, up to 120 widgets, file uploads up to 4,000 rows, automatic refresh, password protection, white-label dashboards, up to 10 builders and priority support.
The page adds that higher limits, custom integrations, enhanced security or dedicated support are handled through a custom plan after contacting the company. The site states no compliance certifications, no hosting regions and no customer count. Support channels are not described beyond the contact page and the Agency plan's priority support.
Who it suits and who it does not
Embedful suits a SaaS team with a Postgres or MySQL database that wants customers to see their own usage or revenue numbers without standing up a BI deployment. It fits an agency or consultant who sends the same report structure to many clients, because dashboards can be saved as templates and the Agency plan carries 100 customer dashboards. A small team that just needs a shared internal metrics page can start on the free plan or Starter.
The limits are visible in the plan table. Direct database connections start at Pro, so the $31 Starter plan works from files, Sheets, GA4 and APIs only, and uploaded files are capped at 500 to 4,000 rows depending on the plan. The free plan allows 2 widgets and public sharing only. Because the product is built for presenting dashboards to an audience, a team looking for open-ended internal data exploration with ad hoc SQL should read the feature lists closely, since the pages describe charts, tables and KPIs rather than an analyst workbench.
