What it is
DataHub Pro is a business intelligence tool for people who start from a spreadsheet. You upload a CSV or Excel file, and the platform builds a dashboard, runs analyses and writes a report without a data-modeling step. The company pitches it at agencies and insight firms first ("Enterprise-grade analytics for the agencies and SMEs who don't have an enterprise budget") and at small businesses, founders, and finance and operations teams second. Its FAQ describes it as built for the workflow of uploading a client's CSV and shipping a report back to that client, with 67 tools pre-configured. The site says data is stored encrypted on UK and EU infrastructure.
What you build and how
The homepage lays out 3 steps. UPLOAD: drop any Excel or CSV file, or an export from your accounting tool, with "no formatting required, no schema mapping, no IT involved." ANALYZE: pick from the 67 analytics tools. DELIVER: "Download boardroom-ready white-label DOCX/PPTX, export visualisations, or share a live dashboard link." There is no canvas to wire up and no schema to define. A comparison page puts it this way: "DataHub Pro infers schema automatically. Drop a CSV, get AI-generated KPIs, charts, and anomaly flags instantly. No scripting, no data modelling step." The same page says the first dashboard takes 2 minutes and that an AI Cleanse step runs on the file as it loads.
What you build with is a library of ready-made tools rather than a blank editor. The homepage counts "67 tools, 7 categories" and says "the tool already exists" for questions like "what's our churn?", "who are our best customers?" and "how will Q3 land?" The categories, as the homepage lists them:
- Home & Dashboards (3 tools): Hub Home, Executive Dashboard and Dashboard Builder.
- Data (10 tools): Data Blending, Data Table, Data Summary, KPI Dashboard, Data Quality, Data Cleaner, Advanced Filter, Value Frequency, Connect Data and Data Pipelines.
- Analysis (12 tools): Pivot Table, What-If Scenarios, Anomaly, Period Comparison, Variance, Trend, Pareto, Correlation, Cohort, RFM, Customer Segmentation and Churn Risk.
- Forecasting & Finance (6 tools): Forecasting, Goal Tracker, NPV, Break-Even, Budget vs Actual and Rolling Average.
- Visualization (9 tools): bar, line, pie, combo, scatter, funnel, box plot, waterfall and heatmap charts.
- AI Tools (5 tools): Ask Your Data, AI Insights, AI Narrative, Auto Report and Formula Builder.
- Operations (5 tools): Scheduled Reports, Connections, Team Members, Audit Log and Public Sharing.
The Dashboard Builder and Executive Dashboard are where the dashboard work happens, Scheduled Reports sends branded output on a timetable, and Public Sharing and the live dashboard link cover the client-facing side. You can pin annotations to chart points, and the homepage example shows a note like "Q3 spike from new pricing tier" traveling into the export.
AI runs through Ask Your Data (plain-English questions), Auto Report, AI Insights, AI Narrative and AI Cleanse. The company describes the mechanism in detail: the tools "use a pandas-backed tool-use loop," the model "doesn't see your data directly," and instead "writes pandas queries that we execute server-side, then it reads the actual results to answer." Every answer carries "a confidence badge and the tool-call trace, so you can audit the maths." A small-business guide on the site adds that the forecasting uses Holt-Winters. That matters if you hand the output to a client, because you can show how a figure was produced.
Delivery is where the product leans hardest on agencies. In Settings you "set your logo, brand colour, and company name," and every DOCX or PPTX export carries them on the cover and footer with "Prepared by [your firm]." The site states "No DataHub branding appears anywhere in the deliverable." Auto Report produces fully editable Word and PowerPoint files, and on the agency tier each client's data stays separate inside one workspace.
Data comes in through files and a set of named sources. The homepage lists Microsoft Excel (.xlsx and .xls), Google Sheets with direct OAuth sync, CSV and TSV, Xero and Sage report exports, QuickBooks report CSVs, Shopify with live OAuth sync, Stripe revenue reports, SharePoint linked sync, and any ERP that exports CSV. HubSpot and Salesforce are marked "Coming Q3 2026," and a public REST API is "In private beta."
Plans, pricing and claims
The homepage says "Pick a tier. Cancel any time. The agency tier is what most insight firms start on."
- Free: "$0 forever," no credit card and no time limit. It includes 2 users, 10 file uploads a month, 8 core analytics tools, PDF export with a watermark, Excel, CSV and Google Sheets imports, 3 AI queries a day through Ask Your Data, and community support only.
- Pro: $19.99 a month, or $199 a year. It includes all 67 tools, unlimited file uploads, unlimited AI (Ask Your Data, Auto Report, forecasting), direct Shopify, Stripe and Xero imports, branded one-click PDF and DOCX, and email support with a 1-day response. The card says "Card required · cancel any time." The comparison pages describe this price as "$19.99 per seat flat" with no seat minimums.
- Enterprise: custom, with per-seat billing for teams on one shared workspace, volume discounts, full white-label exports, unlimited AI usage, scheduled client reports, multi-client workspaces with data isolation, "SSO / SAML · audit logs · custom SLA," dedicated onboarding, API access and a DPA.
A pricing table on the comparison page also shows a "Mid-tier" row at "$39/mo" with "unlimited dashboards, 5 clients," and a "Full platform" row at "$19.99 per seat" with "unlimited clients, full white-label." The small-business guide describes the free tier more tightly, as 1 user and 3 uploads a month.
The homepage trial is "Full access to all 67 tools, all integrations, all AI features and export formats for 7 days," with no card required to start; the comparison page advertises a 14-day full-access trial instead. Switching tiers is "Pro-rated. No contracts, no minimum term."
On security, the company says data is "stored encrypted on UK/EU infrastructure, never shared with third parties, and never used for AI model training," that it is "GDPR-compliant by design with a full DPA available on request," and that each organization's data is logically isolated. The homepage example walks through an agency, Northwall Insights, turning a client CSV into a white-label report in under 3 minutes.
Who it suits and who it does not
DataHub Pro fits an agency or consultancy that receives spreadsheets from clients and has to send back a branded deck or report the same day. The white-label DOCX and PPTX export, per-client separation and scheduled client reports are built for that. It also fits a small business or finance team that lives in Excel, Xero or Shopify and wants forecasting, cohort, variance and churn views without hiring an analyst. The free plan lets you test with 2 users and 10 uploads a month before paying anything.
It is less suited to a team that wants to design its own bespoke dashboard layouts from scratch, since the product is organized around pre-built analyses. The company says plainly that it is "not a warehouse-scale BI platform": a team that needs a semantic layer, row-level security across thousands of users or SQL-native modeling over a data warehouse will outgrow it. The free plan's watermarked PDFs, 10-upload cap and 3 AI queries a day mean a working agency will need a paid tier fast.
