What it is

Waboom CRM is an AI-native CRM for small teams and founders who want a customer relationship platform without the setup overhead. Instead of configuring templates and fields yourself, you describe your business process in plain English and the built-in AI assistant builds the system around you. The contact section lists an office in Auckland, New Zealand, and the founders describe backgrounds in Microsoft Dynamics 365 business applications and in running a Shopify Plus agency, with 25+ combined years in enterprise systems, eCommerce and business transformation.

What you build and how

Waboom ships with core CRM objects out of the box: leads, pipeline, contacts, quotes, and invoices. You then extend it by conversation, never by dragging fields or writing code. When you ask the assistant for a new field, a custom object, a view, or an automation, it appears in your workspace within minutes. You preview changes and can undo them, so experimenting carries no risk.

The interface is a terminal where you type or speak plain English. For example, you can say "Move Globex to Qualified and email them the quote" and the assistant acts on that single sentence, pulling from your live data. It does not guess: every proposal shows where the change came from. You approve or skip each change before it saves, so nothing lands in your CRM without your okay.

The FAQ gives an example of a change by conversation: add a renewal date to deals and remind me 30 days before. The assistant also drafts and sends emails and creates and updates records. The assistant is grounded, meaning it only states what is true from your data and will not invent answers. Waboom syncs with Xero in both directions: customers and invoices sync automatically, and when a payment lands in Xero, Waboom knows in real time. You can also trigger automations when records change, again with no code. The out-of-the-box feature list covers leads, a visual pipeline board, customers and contacts, quotes and invoices, contracts and jobs through to fulfillment and delivery work, scheduling that balances the team's workload, dashboards and analytics for KPIs, revenue and pipeline health, and automations that trigger reminders and actions when records change.

The company says you can "run your whole CRM from your phone". On a phone you can talk or type to it. You can log a call, send a follow-up, or ask what is going on. When the assistant has updates for you, they arrive as a review queue showing where each change came from, ready to approve or skip with a tap.

The assistant is built in as a core feature, not a bolt-on. It does the data entry for you, watches your business, writes the updates, proposes changes, and surfaces what needs attention. You stay in control because you approve everything; there are no admins and no consultants to manage. If your team grows and your workflows change, you ask the assistant for changes in plain language and they appear straight away. The pages say the whole org can build on the platform for the whole team, and each person can add their own extensions for themselves just by asking.

The security section adds that data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and that you can use your own model key so your data stays under your control. Every change can be previewed before it lands and undone in one tap.

Plans, claims and track record

Waboom describes itself as "the AI-native CRM that speaks plain English" and says you can "just talk to it". The product reverses the traditional CRM flow: instead of you feeding the software, "the software watches your business, writes the updates, and proposes them. You simply approve." Nothing is saved without your approval. "Every change shows where it came from, and nothing is saved without your okay."

The product ships with "Leads, Pipeline, Contacts, Quotes, Invoices" and "Your whole org can build on it, and so can you, just by asking." The site says "Waboom builds the core ready on day one"; the organization then adds extensions for the whole team, such as jobs, scheduling and its own workflows, and each person can add a personal dashboard and automations.

Pricing works on usage-based terms: "You only pay for what you use, with no per-seat lock-in. There are no setup fees, and you can cancel any time." The site also says "It starts free." The pages name no plans and give no prices.

On setup time and complexity, the site states "No forms, no setup project, no consultants" and "There is no setup project, no consultants, and no admin certification." The product is "Live in minutes. No migration, no setup project." For skills required, the pages say "If you can describe how your team works, you can build it yourself. You are running on your own CRM within minutes." There are no technical skills or admin certification needed.

On integrations, the site mentions "Two-way Xero sync, built in" with "Customers and invoices sync automatically" and "Payment status flows back to your records." The site adds "More integrations on the way" and offers a Xero integration page and a Xero CRM guide. Creating a customer or invoice in Waboom sends it straight to Xero, which the company says removes double entry and month-end reconciliation.

On data privacy, the company states "We never train on your data. Your records and your IP are never used to train any model, and are never exposed to other businesses on the platform." The assistant is "Grounded, with provenance. The assistant only states what is true from your data, and every change shows exactly where it came from."

The no-code page describes Waboom as a "no-code CRM that you set up by describing your business in plain English" and say "Instead of dragging fields or learning a builder, you tell the built-in assistant how you work and it builds your pipeline, custom fields, views and automations for you." The company argues it goes further than builder-based tools: "Most no-code CRMs still ask you to build the structure yourself with builders and settings. Waboom is AI-native: you talk to it and it does the building, then keeps changing the CRM as you ask."

The FAQ also addresses whether Waboom can replace an established CRM: "Waboom CRM covers the core of what teams use a CRM for, and lets you shape those workflows around your business instead of fitting a template. Where traditional CRMs need admins and months of setup, you build the same thing by conversation in minutes."

Who it suits and who it does not

Waboom suits small teams and founders who run their own business and want a CRM without hiring admins or spending months on setup. If your team can articulate how you work, you can build Waboom in minutes. It is especially valuable if you use Xero for invoicing and want those systems to talk to each other without manual entry.

It also works well for teams that expect to evolve their CRM as the business changes. Because you can ask for changes in plain language and they appear straight away, growing or pivoting teams can reshape their workflows without waiting on developers or consultants.

The main caveat is that Waboom is a platform you shape by conversation, not a rigid template you inherit. If your team is not comfortable describing how you work and letting the assistant build from that, you may find it a different way of working. Xero is the one named integration today, with more announced as on the way, so a team built around other accounting or sales tools gets less from the sync.

The site says Waboom covers "the core of what teams use a CRM for," which is a fair description of the feature list above rather than a promise of every enterprise module. A team that wants a CRM shaped by conversation rather than a template to fit will find that is the product's whole premise.
