WeWeb

WeWeb builds the interface layer of an app while your data lives somewhere else. You design pages with a component-based editor closer to Webflow than to Bubble, then bind those components to collections from Xano, Supabase, Airtable, or a custom API, so the frontend and the data model can be swapped or scaled independently. That separation is the whole pitch: bring your own backend instead of getting locked into one.
Pricing is per project with limits on staging environments and team seats rather than on database rows, since WeWeb doesn’t store your data, so growth cost lives mostly on the backend side you chose. You can export the underlying Vue code on higher plans, which gives WeWeb a real edge on lock-in over single-stack builders. The ceiling comes from needing a second tool for the backend, which adds a moving part and a second bill. It suits teams that already picked Supabase or Xano and want a faster way to build the screens on top.
