What the product is
Comnoco is a no-code backend builder. The features page calls it "the logic and integration layer for your backend", and the homepage promises to let you "build and run infinitely scalable APIs and backends without code". The company says it solves the problem of building and managing backends quickly without programming expertise. It lists the people it built the product for as ambitious startups, small businesses, non-technical teams, agencies and enterprise teams. The company behind it is Comnoco Ltd, as the pricing page footer gives it.
What you build and how
You build with blocks. The company says its UX is different: you line blocks up in sequence or stack them so they feed each other's slots and parameters, and you program everything from logic and dynamic data. What you have built is shown as a "telescopic tree" so you can move around fast and avoid "flowchart sprawl". The site describes Comnoco as a visual programming language, not just a tool, and says the structured abstraction acts as a guardrail. It sets this against the "AI pit of death": code generated by AI that breaks when you touch it. In Comnoco, it says, you control the backend logic and it stays transparent.
The feature the company calls its superpower is reusable functions. You build a function without code once and reuse it where you need it. A testimonial from a web app developer says he creates all API calls once and reuses them, which keeps a growing project maintainable, and praises the debugging blocks and a soft mode that shows which part of the logic causes an error.
Functions can be exposed as APIs. You build APIs that let other systems talk to your backend, public or secured with API keys, JWT-based user auth (the page names Supabase Auth and Clerk) or IP filtering. You can also handle and route requests dynamically instead of being tied to a rigid API definition. Comnoco generates OpenAPI specifications for your functions, ready to view, share and test.
To call out to other systems, the API Connector lets you import full OpenAPI specs to set up a service, or paste cURL commands to configure a call automatically, or build a connection by hand. The plan table adds OAuth connections, environment variables and secrets, and a Secret Store is listed on the features page. Webhooks and scheduled background tasks are on every plan, and the page says scheduled tasks cover things like reminders and cleaning up records without an external cron service.
Data is not locked inside the tool. Comnoco "isn't tied to a built-in database". You connect PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle or another database, and build queries in a visual query builder or in SQL. For Supabase there is a native integration: you work with the database through a no-code interface, use Supabase Auth and Row-Level Security, and publish real-time events, as an alternative to code-based edge functions. While you work, you see data visually, step by step, loop through items and inspect the current one. Data appears as JSON but you handle it in type-safe blocks, and you can transform, merge and structure data from several sources.
There are 2 document-oriented features that stand out in a backend tool. You can design templates in Word, fill them with data and generate PDFs such as invoices, reports, contracts or receipts. And transactional email is built on MJML for responsive HTML templates with dynamic content, with PDFs attachable.
Publishing is one action. The page says you press publish and are live, without DevOps, hosting or maintenance work, on auto-scaling cloud hosting with a development and a production environment. It adds that Comnoco is built in Go. Processes and workspaces can be exported and imported, and custom JavaScript (pure ES) can run inside logic.
The evidence from the pages
Pricing is per team, and teams contain workspaces for separating projects. All plans include unlimited runs, unlimited steps (blocks) per run and unlimited API calls in and out.
Free needs no payment details: 500 minutes of compute time, 500 MB of bandwidth, 120 seconds maximum duration per run, 1 MB maximum incoming data per run, 200 logs per run, 1 day of log retention, 2 workspaces, 10 active triggers (API, webhook or schedule), community support, PDF generation and connection to any database.
Foundation is $30 a month billed annually: 2,500 minutes of compute time, 8 GB of bandwidth, 180 seconds per run, 5 MB incoming data per run, 1000 logs per run, 7 days of retention, 10 workspaces and 100 active triggers.
Pro is $90 a month billed annually: 25,000 minutes, 30 GB, 5 minutes per run, 10 MB incoming data, 5000 logs, 30 days of retention, unlimited workspaces, 200 active triggers and email support. Its add-ons are $20 per 5000 minutes of compute, $8 per 10 GB of bandwidth and $45 per extra user a month, with a staging environment marked coming soon.
Team is $270 a month billed annually and includes 5 users, 75,000 minutes, 250 GB, 10 MB incoming data per run, 10,000 logs, 90 days of retention, unlimited active triggers, priority email support and an AWS Connector Pack. Add-ons cost $15 per 5000 minutes, $6 per 10 GB and $45 per extra user a month. Custom domain and staging environment are marked coming soon.
Enterprise is custom: private hosting on your own infrastructure, 24/7/365 premium support, organization-level access controls, custom SLAs and compliance, scalable usage limits, dedicated security and compliance reviews that mention SOC 2 and GDPR, onboarding and training.
Support is community-based on the free plan, with docs and a status page, email support from Pro and priority email support on Team. A web app developer quoted on the homepage says "Anything you need you ask on their discord", and an SEO consultant, Stefan Florin, writes that "your support is excellent! You answer quickly and your answers are clear and to the point." Another user, Tom Wrench, describes a flow in which a user submits a post, OpenAI moderates it through a custom prompt, and Comnoco updates a Supabase table with the result.
Who it suits and who it does not
Comnoco suits a developer or small team that wants backend logic, APIs and scheduled jobs without maintaining servers, especially if the data already lives in Supabase or another SQL database. Agencies can reuse functions across projects and move workspaces by export and import. Every plan gets unlimited runs, steps and API calls in and out, so cost is driven by compute minutes, bandwidth and run duration.
It is a backend only. The pages say it works with any frontend, and none describe screens or forms, so you pair it with a separate front-end tool. The free plan caps a run at 120 seconds and 1 MB of incoming data, and a custom domain and a staging environment are still marked coming soon. The company describes it as a visual programming language, so expect to learn its blocks, slots and functions before it pays off.
