AWS Lex is Amazon's conversational AI service built on the same technology that powers Alexa. It handles automatic speech recognition (ASR) and natural language understanding without your team having to train or tune language models. You define intents and slots (entities) in the console, and Lex handles the rest, scaling automatically on AWS infrastructure. It works across voice phone systems, web interfaces, and messaging platforms.
